Harper's book "The Skinny Rules" hit bookshelves in the spring of 2012, debuting a number one on the New York Times best-seller list, and for countless weeks remaining steadfast in the number one slot. "The Skinny Rules" focuses on Harper"s "simple, non-negotiable principles for getting thin," full of easy, practical do-it-yourself recipes for any body type, and simple-to-follow rules.
Inspired by the husband of a former contestant, Harper hit pen to paper when he learned the husband started eating healthy in order to feel closer to his wife while on the show. He began eating everything Harper tweeted (which is coincidentally the first chapter in "The Skinny Rules,""Eat What I Tweet!"). His method resulted in the unbelievable loss of more than 100 pounds. Harper has made it as simple as the title suggests, and evidently, America seems to agree.
