It was a confrontation of the Heinz variety. A worker at a Subway sandwich shop in Florida flew off the handle last week after a customer ordered ketchup on his Philly cheese steak. Worker Lawrence Ordone said he was baffled by the request because, “We don't even have ketchup at Subway -- I've never put ketchup on anybody's sandwich.” The customer, Luis Martinez, insisted he didn’t want the sandwich without the ketchup and that’s when an argument ensued. Ordone came out from behind the counter and told Martinez to “fight [him] like a man.” Martinez claims Ordone threatened to kill him. Cops were called, but Ordone was ultimately not arrested. He was fired from his job though. He must really hate ketchup.
