Other than bad service, is there such a thing as a good excuse for not leaving a tip?  One woman thought her status as a single mom was, and has since caused internet controversy.  After dining at a restaurant recently and paying the $140 bill with a credit card, the woman wrote “single mom sorry” in the space for the tip.  At the bottom of the bill she wrote, “Thank you it was great.”  The receipt was posted on online forum Reddit and quickly went viral.  Restaurant workers were outraged- after all, many waiters and waitresses barely make minimum wage and rely heavily on tips.  Other critics said that being a single parent is irrelevant - tipping is simply part of going out to eat.  CLICK HERE FOR THE WHOLE STORY AND THE OUTRAGE!
