DOGS:

PIT BULL TERRIER MIX

8 MONTHS OLD

SPAYED FEMALE

WHITE AND BLACK

NAME: ABBY

Abby is one amazing pup! She loves other dogs and even cats! She is full of wonderful energy and would make a great canine companion for any active household with previous canine experience.  Abby would do best with children ages 9 and up, and she can adapt to most household environments (apartments considered).  She enjoys learning new tricks (for treats of course!) and must continue her training upon adoption.  Abby loves running around outside, and playing with her toys! She has a great personality and will definitely become an overgrown lap dog in her new home. If you think you could be the right family for Abby, please come visit us at the Newington branch of the Connecticut Humane Society today.

POINTER MIX

4 MONTHS OLD

SPAYED FEMALE

BLACK WITH WHITE

NAME: PEPPER

This puppy sure is cute! But puppies are a lot of work - many are not housebroken and require positive training, exercise and socialization. Please ensure that you have the time and patience to dedicate to this youngster. All puppies require Mandatory Training upon adoption for obedience and socialization. Pointers are even-tempered, congenial dogs, happiest living indoors as part of the family. Pointers are affectionate and loyal and they can happily coexist with other dogs and often cats. They are typically not territorial, although their size and bark will intimidate most people who come to their door. Pointers are very good with children, although young children and a clumsy young Pointer are often not the best combination. Our adoption counselors are here to guide you through the process and find the best puppy for you and your family!
