I was born and raised in the town of Massapequa, on Long Island, NY. I knew from the tender age of FIVE that I wanted to be a radio DJ, having grown up with the legends of NY radio, like Cousin Bruce, Dan Ingram, Harry Harrison, and Ron Lundy. I have now been in radio for 24 years, including a recent stint at NYC's Fresh 102.7. I love Manhattan...in fact, I love the whole tri-state area, and am thrilled to be on the air on The River in Hartford!
My pride and joy is my wonderful 21 year old daughter Katie (Katie Perry?? Hmmm...), and I also have a terrific Golden Retriever named Jaxon. I love sports, especially baseball and college football. For baseball, I do like and respect the Yanks, especially Jeter and Mariano, BUT I have been a die-hard Mets fan for a loooong time! In general I root for most NY sports teams...besides the Mets, I like the Knicks, Jets and Islanders. And for college football, I love the Florida Gators and Ohio State Buckeyes.
I love to play basketball to stay in shape, and take my dog out for long walks. Going out to see live bands while sipping a cold one makes for a great evening for me. I also love to go to sporting events, as well as travel whenever possible. I enjoy reading. One of my main philosophies is that every success starts with having the right attitude. I generally bring a good attitude and sense of humor with me wherever I go.
Some of my favorite performers include Bruce Springsteen, Steely Dan, The Eagles, The Beatles, Billy Joel, Daughtry, Tom Petty, Rob Thomas, Maroon 5, Green Day, and John Mellencamp.
