HI! I have lived and worked in CT my whole life....I LOVE it here! I grew up listening to WHCN..and it's so cool to be a part of the team now!
I knew in 8th grade at O'Brien School in East Hartford that I wanted to be a DJ!
I also host 2 shows: Celebrity Access, where you'll get great interviews from all the stars & Community Access, a show that provides all kinds of lifestyle information, health tips, family events, public service announcements.....on and on, if it's going on in Connecitut we're on it!

I LOVE STRAWBERRIES! OMG - this is a MUST MAKE RECIPE!

1 lb marscapone cheese, softened
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup confectioners sugar
1/4 cup Kahula (or coffee flavored liqueur)
2 cups strong brewed espresso coffee
1/4 cup cup sweet Marsala wine
1/4 cup sugar
36 firm Italian ladyfinger biscuits
1 qt strawberried, thinly sliced
1 tbs. unsweetened cocoa powder
1. In bowl, beat mascarpone cheese, cream and 1/2 cup confectioners sugar 1 min on med speed. Add marsala, beat on hugh 2 min. Be sure it's thickend enough to be spreadable.
2. In separate bowl whisk espresso, Kaluha & sugar until sugar is dissolved. Place 2 ladyfingers in bottom of 9 goblets (break to fit), OR arrange 18 in a single layer in a 13 x 9 baking dish. Brush ladyfingers with coffee mixture, then top with marscapone mixture, divide the strawberries among goblets or baking dish, layer with remaining ladyfingers, brush with coffee mixture, layer with the remaing marscapone mixture and garnish with remaing strawberries!
3. Cover loosely with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 3 hours - up to 24. Combine remaining 1/2 cup confectioners sugar with cocoa powder just before serving and sprinkle on top - add a bit of mint for garnish!
