What is your motto in life? Always say what you mean and do what you say.
If you have a few minutes to prep and 40 minutes to bake - you will have an impressive, easy to make pear tart!
Peel and slice into thin pieces about a pound of pears, put in a bowl and sprinkle with fresh lemon juice and a pinch of salt.
Roll out a pre-made pie dough on lightly floured surface, I used Pillsbury 9" pie dough.
In bowl with pears sprinkle a couple tablespoons of flour, 1/2 cup sugar, all spice OR cinnamon and nutmeg, your preferance. Mix together. In a small sauce pot melt 1/2 stick butter and 1/4 cup brown sugar, I use light brown sugar and as many walnuts as you like. Pour into pear mixture.
Put pie dough on a sprayed baking sheet, I used Pam for baking, pour pear mixture in center of dough. Leaving about 2" around so you can fold the dough over, pleat it as you go. THEN use milk to brush the crust and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven center rack for 40 to 50 minutes, depending on your oven. I let mine go a bit longer.
