Australian Motley Crue fans who paid $899 for the band’s Kickstart My Heart ticket package will be heartbroken to hear drummer Tommy Lee will not be on hand to shake hands at meet-and-greet sessions on the band’s current tour. According to Lee, he has no problem pressing the flesh with fans, but he doesn’t agree with fans having to pay a fee for the privilege. Lee said his boycott of meet-and-greets has “nothing to do with me not wanting to meet the fans. I just don’t agree with doing it under the certain given circumstances. I love you all and I’ll gladly high-five y’all if I see you – and you won’t have to pay me for that.”

Tommy Lee is being sued. The Motley Crue drummer is being accused of assault stemming from an incident on a Florida beach last summer.
Lawyer Robert Dixon, who's representing Freddy Hernandez, has issued a statement saying his client was met with violence when he encountered Lee on the beach last July and began taking photographs of the rocker.
He claims Lee "touched and/or struck Freddy Hernandez without his permission, by hitting his camera, while Mr. Hernandez was holding said camera." He says Mr. Hernandez suffered injuries as a result.
The suit was recently filed in Palm Beach County circuit court. Dixon doesn't specify what he and Hernandez are seeking in damages.
