HI! I have lived and worked in CT my whole life....I LOVE it here! I grew up listening to WHCN..and it's so cool to be a part of the team now!
I knew in 8th grade at O'Brien School in East Hartford that I wanted to be a DJ!
I also host 2 shows: Celebrity Access, where you'll get great interviews from all the stars & Community Access, a show that provides all kinds of lifestyle information, health tips, family events, public service announcements.....on and on, if it's going on in Connecitut we're on it!

2/13: On this day, 1976, Genesis released their first album since the departure of Peter Gabriel, 'A Trick Of The Tail' featuring eight new tracks with drummer Phill Collins taking on the role of lead vocalist.

1914- The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (known as ASCAP) was formed in New York City. The society was founded to protect the copyrighted musical compositions of its members.
1971- "One Bad Apple" by The Osmonds peaked at #1 on the pop singles chart and stayed there for five weeks.
1972- Cabaret starring Liza Minnelli, Michael York and Joel Grey opened in theaters.
1991- A helicopter carrying actor Kirk Douglas collided with a stunt plane over an airport in California. Douglas suffered cuts and bruises. Two people on the plane were killed.
1993- Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" from the soundtrack to The Bodyguard topped Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart for the 13th week.
1998- The movie The Wedding Singer starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore opened in U.S. theaters, and made history for having the biggest box-office take ever for a film opening over Presidents Day weekend. It took in $22.2 million, beating out the previous Presidents Day record-holder, Wayne's World (1992).
2000- Charles M. Schulz's last original Sunday "Peanuts" comic strip appeared in newspapers, the day after the cartoonist died in his sleep at his California home at age 77.
2001- William Shatner trekked down the aisle for the fourth time marrying Elizabeth Martin in a private ceremony in rural Indiana. They are still married.
2005- Ray Charles won eight posthumous Grammy awards for his final album, Genius Loves Company.
2008- Hollywood writers headed back to work after their 100-day strike ended the day before.
