The White House officially shot down the idea of building a Death Star, like the one from Star Wars, despite getting 35,000 signatures on a petition. An administration adviser said a Death Star would cost too much to build with an estimated cost of $850 quadrillion dollars,  at a time when the White House is working to reduce the federal budget.
