The legalization of marijuana in Washington and Colorado has been met with much criticism, but former President Jimmy Carter has stated that he is okay with the change in pot legislation. In fact, the former President made the case that Portugal legalized drugs, and it resulted in a decrease in drug use, and less people in jail.
