Lindsay Lohan checked into the Betty Ford Clinic in Rancho Mirage, California, late last Thursday night – narrowly avoiding a warrant for her arrest. She’s set to begin what is supposed to be a three-month stay, but one never really knows with the fickle Lohan. Earlier on Thursday she showed up at Morningside Recovery but left shortly after because she reportedly “hated it.” According to a source, “She thought the facilities are gross. ...She is interested in going back to Betty Ford because she knows everyone there.” Lohan was previously in Betty Ford in 2010 and made headlines after a tussle with an employee. Her latest stint is part of a plea deal negotiated in March. Had she not checked into a rehab facility by Thursday, she would have been facing an arrest warrant. In other news, Lohan has also rehired her former lawyer, Shawn Holley.

Lindsay Lohan may finally be in rehab, but she really doesn’t see any reason for her to be there. In an interview with Piers Morgan conducted last month, Lindsay insists she’s not much of a drinker or drug taker. Linds said she had her first drink at 17  and her mom Dina, “made me sleep with vomit still on me so I’d understand how it felt. I didn’t drink again throughout high school. I was too scared!” She added, “I’ve never been a huge drinker. I’ve never woken up in the morning and had a drink.” As for drugs, Lindsay claims to have only done coke, “maybe four or five times in my life.” She added, “Everyone thinks I’m this crazy drug addict who shows up late to everything and behaves so badly. But I’m not. I’m bad with timing." Lindsay has smoked pot, but she says her favorite drug was “ecstasy…I liked that better than the others.” As for rehab, Lindsay says, “I could write the book on rehab. Constantly sending me to rehab is pointless.”

Justin Bieber was attacked on stage during a performance Sunday in Dubai. As the Biebs was singing ‘Believe” at a piano, a young man ran onto the stage and yanked at the pop star, who was able to break free. His security then stormed the stage and caught the attacker, while knocking over the piano. Bieber went on to finish the show.

Eleven people witnessed the ceremony, in which the bride wore a strapless above-the-knee tulle dress, with a Chanel jacket. It was a Cinco de Mayo wedding for Honey Boo Boo’s parents. Mama June, a.k.a. June Shannon, and Sugar Bear, a.k.a. Mike Thompson, exchanged vows yesterday in McIntyre, Georgia. The entire thing was being filmed for the family’s reality show, with guests specifically told on the invitation that cell phones, cameras or outside video equipment were not welcome. Mama June and Sugar Bear met online nine years ago, and welcomed daughter Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson two years later.

Amanda Bynes took to Twitter to explain why she keeps complaining about the media using old pictures of her. “The reason I’ve asked all magazines and blogs to stop using old photos of me is I don’t look like that anymore! I had a nose job to remove skin that was like a webbing in between my eyes,” she wrote. “I wasn’t going to tell anyone, but I look so much prettier in my new photos that I don’t want old photos used anymore!” Bynes added, “I’m so sick of magazines and blogs using old photos! When will they stop? I will never look like that again! Having surgery was the most amazing thing for my confidence!”

LA Children and Family Services paid a visit to Brooke Mueller last week to take away her twin boys with ex-husband Charlie Sheen.  Sources told TMZ that Mueller’s home was determined to be unsafe for the four-year-olds because she was suspected of using drugs.  The kids are now in the custody of Charlie’s other famous ex, Denise Richards, who is also the mother of his two daughters.  A court hearing has reportedly been set for this week.  Reports claimed that after the kids were taken away, Brooke was put on an involuntary psychiatric hold at UCLA Medical Center, but was released Friday, after she sobered up and was “deemed not a danger to herself.” Doctors tried to get her to seek treatment but she refused. There’s no official word on why Sheen didn’t get custody of the boys, but between his well-documented antics and Mueller’s multiple failed stints in rehab, it seems like a good call.

American Idol hit new lows last Thursday night. Only 11 million viewers tuned in and the show only had a 2.5 rating among adults 18-49, down 7 percent from last week. In a bid to change things up and hopefully halt the show’s ratings free-fall, American Idol reps are reportedly looking for new judges for next season. Recent Idol guest mentor Harry Connick Jr. told E! that he has been approached about taking a seat on the judges’ panel. “You know, they kinda wanted to know if I would be interested in it,” Connick Jr. said. “It’s been talked about before, who knows what’ll happen in the future.”

An insider source reportedly told Radar the two expectant parents have finally set a date for their wedding. We always knew reality shows were fake!  Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams is accused of faking her divorce from former NFL hubby Kordell Stewart for the cameras!  According to Media Take Out, Williams and Stewart were in cahoots in the scheme to save their spot on the show.  The couple supposedly cooked up the divorce drama storyline in order to convince producers to keep them on- and it seems to have worked.  Although TMZ reported that Stewart officially filed for divorce on March 22, sources say Williams and Stewart are currently living together and “are still very much a married couple.”

Even more embarrassing footage from Reese Witherspoon’s arrest surfaced online Friday. In a TMZ-obtained dash-cam video from the actress' April 19 booking for disorderly conduct, Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth are heard arguing about the incident. "He asked you to get in the car and all you should have done is let me get arrested," Toth says. He adds, “Now you’ve turned it into national news.” Toth was initially pulled over for a DUI, and a drunk and panicked Witherspoon tried to come to his defense, but ended up getting herself arrested too. LINDSAY REHAB CONTROVERSY

Looks like Lindsay Lohan may have caught another break. Yesterday she allegedly checked herself into Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach, CA, (see story below) even though it wasn’t approved by prosecutors (she made the switch because Seafield in New York wouldn’t let her smoke). In court yesterday, Santa Monica City Attorney Terry White said he felt blindsided by the last minute change. He also had issues with Morningside, because he found several articles criticizing the facility. A judge gave prosecutors a week to investigate the rehab before he decides anything about Lindsay’s status. If she has to be moved, she will be forced to start her treatment over. As for Morningside’s problems, TMZ reports it recently had its license suspended because a 20-year-old patient being treated for bulimia and alcohol addiction died at the facility, and they were not licensed to treat people with eating disorders. The patient’s family is now suing. TMZ says that in addition, state investigators suspended the facility’s license in 2012 for allegedly being careless about prescription drugs. One state official called Morningside “a substantial threat” to the public’s health and safety.

LINDSAY’S LAWYER LIES ABOUT REHAB

Meanwhile, it looks like Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer actually lied to the court yesterday.   At the same time Mark Heller told the judge she was already locked down in rehab at Morningside Recovery, Lindsay was photographed at Fry’s Electronics in Fountain Valley, CA. As of 11 am, TMZ reported that Lindsay was still not at Morningside. In fact, they say her car drove up to the facility around that time but she never got out and the vehicle left with her still inside.

REESE PLEADS NO CONTEST IN CONNECTION WITH ATLANTA ARREST

Lawyers for Reese Witherspoon yesterday pled no contest in connection with her arrest in Atlanta last month. Her husband, Jim Toth, who was also arrested for DUI, pled guilty. Reese entered the plea to a charge of physical obstruction of another and will pay a $213 fine. Jim pled guilty to DUI, but received no jail time. Instead he must perform 40 hours of community service and attend an alcohol education program He was also placed on 12 months probation.

REESE GIVES FIRST INTERVIEW SINCE ARREST

In related news...Reese Witherspoon sat down for an interview with Good Morning America yesterday, her first since her arrest for disorderly conduct in Atlanta last month. Reese said that she and husband Jim Toth (who was busted for DUI), “made a mistake and it was something that will absolutely never happen again,” adding “It’s just completely unacceptable and we are so sorry and embarrassed.”   Reese said “it was just one of those nights,” explaining that she and Jim, “went out to dinner in Atlanta and had one too many glasses of wine. We thought we were fine to drive and we absolutely were not…We know better and we shouldn’t have done that.” She admits she was “disrespectful” to her arresting officer, but says she doesn’t remember pulling the “I’m famous” card. “I literally panicked,” she said. “I said all kinds of crazy things. I told him I was pregnant. I’m not pregnant.” Witherspoon said that telling her children was tough. “We have to say, you know, when you make a mistake, you take responsibility and we are taking responsibility and doing everything in our power to make it right.” Another lesson she learned – “When a police officer tells you to stay in the car, you stay in the car. I learned that for sure.”

Although they’ve spent all season together on American Idol, Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey still don’t like each other. During Wednesday night’s show, the pair got into a heated exchange and now Nicki has taken that war to Twitter. Clearly talking about Mariah, Nicki tweeted, “why a woman SO successful at her age, is still so INSECURE and bitter.” She then made reference to rumors that Mariah was going to be replaced by Jennifer Lopez, writing, "All dem #1s but JLo phone ringin? TMZ reports that Kris Kross rapper Chris Kelly had been using cocaine and heroin the night before he died. According to the Atlanta police report, Kelly’s mom Donna Kelly Pratt called 911 asking for medical assistance, and paramedics arrived at 3 pm, finding the 34-year-old unresponsive with “no signs of life.” They tried to revive him but were unable to do so. Chris’ mother told cops the rapper had an “extensive history of drug use,” and had been doing speedballs (a combination of heroin and cocaine) the night before. She said she had taken him home to recover from the drug use and that he felt nauseous all morning, and eventually passed out.

Amanda Bynes is acting crazy on Twitter again. The actress posted topless photos of herself on Wednesday, although she did cover up her assets. In one, Amanda sits on her bathroom sink, her boobs covered by her blond hair, with the caption, “long hair don’t care.” In another she’s wearing only ripped tights, with the caption, “Rawr!” Earlier in the week, Amanda talked to In Touch, insisting that despite what everyone is saying, she’s not crazy. “I have no clue [why people say I’m insane]. My Fair Wedding host David Tutera is denying allegations that he is a sex addict who frequents prostitutes. The accusation came to light in divorce papers filed by Tutera’s estranged hubby Ryan Jurica. "The allegations against me are baseless and untrue and I will fight vigorously to defend my reputation in the court of law as well as the court of public opinion," says Tutera. "I believe them to be fabrications of a desperate individual in order to gain a legal advantage in our separation." GLEE STAR SUES WOMAN ACCUSING HIM OF SEXUAL BATTERY

Glee’s Mark Salling is firing back at a woman who sued him in January for sexual battery. Former Playboy model Roxanne Gorzela filed suit claiming that when they hooked up in March, 2011, Mark forced her to have sex without a condom. Then, when she went back to his house to confront him, she found him in bed with another woman. Roxanne demanded he prove he didn’t have an STD, and she says he attacked her and pushed her to the ground. But Mark has now filed a countersuit, accusing Roxanne of trespassing and assault and battery. He claims that when she barged into his house without permission, she hit him on the chest, arms and face. She then ran outside and scratched up his car, causing “substantial” damage. 

PITCH PERFECT STAR DIVORCING

Pitch Perfect’s Anna Camp (also from True Blood and The Mindy Project) and her husband of three years, Pan Am’s Michael Mosley are divorcing. Mosley filed papers in California April 23^rd, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The date of separation was listed as New Year’s Day, 2013.

SPICE GIRLS MUSICAL CLOSING

The Spice Girls’ musical Viva Forever did not last forever. Producers announced yesterday that the show will close June 29^th after a disappointing six-month run at London’s Piccadilly Theater. Viva Forever opened in December to horrendous reviews, with the Daily Telegraph calling it “tawdry, lazy and unedifying.” “Although Viva Forever won’t continue in the West End we are thrilled that the thousands of people who came to the show had as much fun as we did,” read a statement from the Spice Girls.

œ The Perks of Being a Wallflower’s Logan Lerman will join Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf in Fury, a thriller that takes place in 1945 as the Nazi regime collapses. The film follows the five-man crew of an American tank who are battling a desperate German army.

œ New Girl’s Max Greenfield will reprise his role of Deputy Leo in the upcoming Veronica Mars movie. "I'm excited! I love all those guys. They gave me one of my first jobs," Greenfield told E! "It was a big break for me and people really liked me on that show. I had such a good time with all of them. I think I'm going down to do a day or two on the movie in June or something, so that should be just great."

œ Chronicle’s Michael B. Jordan is reportedly the frontrunner to play The Human Torch in the upcoming big screen reboot of Fantastic Four. Should he land the role, it would be one of the rare times a superhero is played by an African American actor. The Human Torch, aka Johnny Storm, was played by Chris Evans in the original franchise.

œ Kelsey Grammer has been cast as the human villain in Michael Bay’s Transformers 4. According to The Wrap, the former Frasier star will play a counter-intelligence operative who figures prominently in the plot. œ Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke will star in James Franco’s next directorial effort, The Garden of Last Days. Based on a 2008 novel by House of Sand and Fog writer Andrew Dubus III, the film, set in a Florida strip club, explores family and sexual values over the course of one night. Clarke will play a stripper who brings her 3-year-old daughter to work.

œ Bradley Cooper has dropped out of the troubled western Jane Got A Gun. He is the fourth person to leave the project, which stars Natalie Portman and Joel Edgerton. LOHAN READY FOR REHAB…BUT WHERE?

Lindsay Lohan is scheduled to check into rehab today, and it looks as though she had a hard time deciding what to bring. The actress posted a picture of herself sitting amongst piles of clothes, suitcases and shoes, with the caption, “90 days and 270 looks.” Meanwhile, TMZ reports Lindsay’s stay at Seafield Center in Westhampton, New York may be in danger. The site says Lindsay’s been telling people she may not go to Seafield because they won’t let her smoke. Insiders say her team then contacted Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach (where Linds rehabbed in 2010) to see if she could go there, but so far, the LA City Attorney’s Office hasn’t signed off on the new place. But that doesn’t seem to matter to Lindsay.   TMZ reported that she was planning to fly to California last night to check in to Morningside even though she had yet to get approval. Her lawyer is expected in a courtroom later today, and if the judge is unhappy, Lindsay could be ruled in violation of her probation and could face jail time.

MARIAH & NICK RENEW VOWS AT DISNEYLAND

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon continued their tradition of renewing their wedding vows on their anniversary, and did so in spectacular fashion. The pair, who last year held their renewal at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, shut down Disneyland in Anaheim, CA, Tuesday, to walk down the aisle for a fifth time. The 43-year-old pop star dressed like a princess in a full ball gown, accompanied by her two–year-old daughter Monroe, who wore a similar white dress. FORMER NANNY DISHES DIRT ON KARDASHIANS

A former nanny for the Kardashian Klan is dishing the dirt on what it was like to work for the family. Pam Behan worked for Kris and Bruce Jenner for five years starting in 1991, and spills the beans in a new book titled Malibu Nanny: Adventures of the Former Kardashian Nanny. Among her revelations:

œ During her teenage years, Kourtney didn’t want anything to do with Bruce. “Bruce tried to engage with Kourtney and to parent her as a good stepfather would. Kourtney wanted nothing to do with it,” wrote Pam, who added that when Bruce tried to talk to her she’d yell, “you’re not my dad! Don’t even speak to me.”

œ Kim, who was ten when Pam started working for the family, was always “sweet and friendly.”

œ Mom Kris was incredibly demanding, and once went on a foul-mouth tirade after Pam forgot to buy broccoli. It got so bad that Pam said, “I had mentally started packing my bags – I was going to quit. And all this, over broccoli.”

œ Kris was always criticizing Khloe over her weight, telling her daughter she couldn’t have a cookie because she was “getting a little chubby.”

œ The girls always dressed well, but Kris would only let them wear outfits once or twice before giving them away. Said Pam, “Kris liked to flaunt how much money they had.” She added that the girls were all very “selfish and shallow,” saying they were “a family of fakes.”

œ While working for the family, Pam met Sylvester Stallone, who asked her out on a date. “I wanted it to last forever,” she wrote. “But I couldn’t fully enjoy it because I was so overwhelmed that I was actually kissing Sly Stallone.”

œ Pam quit in 1996 and headed back to the Midwest, but added that Khloe begged her not to go. Said Pam, “I felt like I was leaving my family.”

KHLOE DOESN’T WANT TO BE COMPARED TO SISTERS

Khloe Kardashian discusses her body issues in the new edition of Cosmopolitan UK. The 28-year-old admits she has a tough time being compared to her sisters, but it’s made her more confident. “I’ve always known that I’m not Kim and I’m not Kourtney — I’ve always been OK with that,” she says, although she admits, ”I probably thought I was prettier before I entered the spotlight because being compared to somebody else every day does sort of beat up your spirit and soul. Rob Kardashian is being sued by a paparazzo. Photographer Andra Vaik says Rob lashed out at her last month as she was trying to take a shirtless photograph of him. He then broke her camera and grabbed its memory card. Vaik is suing for robbery and assault, although Rob claims he was justified in his actions. He told TMZ that Vaik was on private property, waiting to get a picture of him as he changed for the gym. At the time of the incident he said he’d pay her for the damage to the equipment.

ANISTON DELAYS WEDDING BECAUSE OF BRANGELINA

Jennifer Aniston won’t be walking down the aisle anytime soon. According to Us Weekly, the former Friends star has put her wedding to Justin Theroux on hold because she doesn’t want it to overlap with her ex Brad Pitt’s wedding to Angelina Jolie. “She does not want her day associated with them,” said a source. The insider claims that after Jen found out about Brad’s plans she considered moving her date up, but Justin talked her out of it. Miley Cyrus is sick of hearing rumors that she’s split from fiancé Liam Hemsworth. In fact, she tells V magazine, there’s a perfectly good reason you don’t see them out together all that often. “Every week it’s ‘Are they broken up? Because we don’t see a photo of them,’” she says. “I don’t have time to go to Starbucks with my boyfriend every morning. I wish I did, but I don’t. I’d rather chill at my house and be there for the time I actually get to spend with him.” Cyrus says both she and Liam are very busy, and right now recording her new album is taking up a lot of her time. “He gets up to work out at six and I come home at five from the studio,” she says. “I put this record before everything, and I’ve never done that with anything.”

TV WEDDING PLANNER DIVORCING HUSBAND

Celebrity wedding planner, and WEtv personality, David Tutera has split from his partner of ten years, and their divorce is bound to get nasty. Tutera and Ryan Jurica were married in Vermont back in 2003, but since their marriage is not recognized in California, David has filed to end their domestic partnership due to “irreconcilable differences.” The documents reveal that Tutera and Jurica are expecting twins via surrogate in July, and the wedding planner is asking for full legal and physical custody of the children, with Jurica only getting visitation rights. He is also asking that Jurica not get any spousal support. But in papers filed two days earlier in Connecticut, Jurica claimed that David’s sex addiction was to blame for their split. He says the wedding planner has an uncontrollable sexual appetite, and would hire “sex escorts and prostitutes to support his addiction.” Jurica said they tried several attempts at counseling and therapy but were unable to save their relationship.  In his papers, Jurica is demanding full custody of the couple’s unborn children. He is also asking for support, since David is the moneymaker in the relationship, raking in more than $1 million per year.

CRYER RECEIVES TWO AND A HALF MEN RAISE

Jon Cryer recently signed on for an eleventh season of Two and a Half Men, and got some more money to stick around. According to the Hollywood Reporter. Cryer got a raise, which will see him earn $620,000 an episode. Of course he still doesn’t make as much as co-star Ashton Kutcher, who earns $700,000 an episode, although Ashton did not receive a raise for season eleven.

DAYTIME EMMY AWARD NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCED

Nominees for the 50^th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards were announced yesterday, with The Young and the Restless leading the pack with 23 noms. General Hospital came in a distant second with 19, followed by Days of Our Lives and Sesame Street, which both earned 17. Outstanding Drama nominees include: The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, One Life to Live and The Young And the Restless (basically, all the shows that are still on the air, plus OLTL, which signed off in January). The Daytime Emmy Awards will be held June 16^th and air live on HLN.

œ Comedian John Oliver will begin his stint filling in as host on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show June 10^th. His first guest will be Seth Rogen. Oliver will be taking over for Jon Stewart while he directs his first movie, Rosewood. Stewart will return September 3^rd.

œ Downton Abbey is getting its first black cast member. Gary Carr, who previously appeared on the BBC’s Bluestone 42 and Death in Paradise, has been cast to play a jazz singer during the show’s fourth season. His character Jack Ross is described as “a charming and charismatic young man.”

œ CNN has ordered a second season of the Anthony Bordain series Parts Unknown. The new season will premiere in September.

œ Sundance has renewed Rectify for a second season.

œ HBO has renewed Veep for a third season.

œ NBC’s Salt Lake City, Utah affiliate KSL TV has pulled Hannibal off the schedule. The network posted on Facebook that they’ve decided to cut the show after “receiving numerous complaints from viewers.”

œ Pretty Little Liars’ Tyler Blackburn will star the ABC Family show’s spin-off Ravenswood. Blackburn, who plays Hanna’s (Ashley Benson) boyfriend Caleb Rivers, will become a series regular on the new show, which debuts in October. Ravenswood centers on a town not far from PLL’s Rosewood, PA, which has been under a deadly curse for generations.

œ Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain will star in The Zookeeper’s Wife, an adaptation of the Diane Ackerman novel. The book tells the true story of the keepers of the Warsaw Zoo, who helped save hundreds of Jews during World War II.

œ Michael Fassbender and Natalie Portman will star in a big screen version of Macbeth. The film is being described as an updated take of Shakespeare's tale of revenge and ambition.

NBA star Jason Collins reveals that he is gay in the latest issue of Sports Illustrated, a first for an active professional American athlete. "I'm a 34-year-old NBA center," writes the 12-year NBA veteran, who is currently a free agent. "I didn't set out to be the first openly gay athlete playing in a major American team sport. But since I am, I'm happy to start the conversation." Collins admits it was hard staying in the closet for so many years. "It takes an enormous amount of energy to guard such a big secret. I've endured years of misery and gone to enormous lengths to live a lie. I was certain that my world would fall apart if anyone knew," he writes. "And yet when I acknowledged my sexuality I felt whole for the first time. I still had the same sense of humor, I still had the same mannerisms and my friends still had my back." Jason went to Stanford with Chelsea Clinton, and Chelsea’s dad President Bill Clinton immediately offered his support to the basketball star. “Jason's announcement today is an important moment for professional sports and in the history of the LGBT community," Clinton said in a statement. "It is also the straightforward statement of a good man who wants no more than what so many of us seek: to be able to be who we are; to do our work; to build families and to contribute to our communities. For so many members of the LGBT community, these simple goals remain elusive. I hope that everyone, particularly Jason's colleagues in the NBA, the media and his many fans extend to him their support and the respect he has earned."

While Jason Collins’ announcement received an outpouring of support on Twitter, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace posted a less than supportive tweet aimed at the NBA star. “All these beautiful women in the world and guys wanna mess with other guys SMH…,” tweeted Wallace, before taking it down and issuing an apology. He then wrote, “I’m not bashing anybody don’t have anything against anyone I just don’t understand it. Never said anything was right or wrong I just said I don’t understand!! Deeply sorry for anyone that I offended.”

Rocky is coming to the Broadway stage. Producers announced over the weekend that a musical version of Sylvester Stallone’s Oscar-winning film will begin previews in February at the Winter Garden Theater, with the official opening expected in March. “I couldn’t be more proud or more excited about this production and how my original story of Rocky Balboa has been brought to spectacular life onstage,” said Stallone, who wrote the screenplay for the 1976 original.
