DID BROWN LIE ABOUT COMMUNITY SERVICE?
Chris Brown may be in some big trouble in Los Angeles. TMZ is reporting that the L.A. County District Attorney has filed legal documents arguing that Brown violated his probation in the Rihanna beating case because he submitted false community service records. Bryan T. Norwood, the Chief of Police in Richmond, VA, , informed a judge in September that Brown had completed 202 days of community service, even though he was only sentenced to 180, but the D.A. believes he was lying. The D.A. claims Norwood and Brown had a prior relationship and Norwood actually admitted that he only supervised Brown on 9 or 10 occasions, and at all other times the singer went unsupervised. The D.A. believes there was no way Chris could have completed all the community service he claimed to have done because he was out of the country performing. They argue that in at least one case, Brown said he was picking up garbage in Virginia, when he was actually flying to Cancun on a private jet. The D.A. calls Chris’ documentation "at best sloppy ... and at worst fraudulent reporting.” The D.A. wants the judge to reject Chris’ community service and make him fulfill his obligations in Los Angeles.

MARIAH FEUDING WITH J.LO OVER NICKI
They are both known divas so it’s not much of a surprise to hear that Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez don’t like each other. According to The National Enquirer, Mariah is particularly furious at J.Lo because she’s been secretly coaching Carey’s American Idol enemy Nicki Minaj on how to outshine her on the panel. “They’ve always bad-mouthed each other, but Mariah hit the roof when she heard Jennifer called Nicki and offered to help her become the most popular American Idol judge,” claimed a source. “Jennifer is instructing Nicki on everything, from how to treat contestants to what to wear. Mariah was so upset she called Jennifer directly and told her to butt out!” Apparently Mariah and J.Lo have been at odds for years. “It boils down to Mariah having always viewed Jennifer as a subpar singer and actress,” said the source. “And J.Lo thinks Mariah is stuck-up, and has poked fun at her weight struggles. Mariah and Jennifer are now archenemies.”

Q-Both Mariah and J.Lo have been married more than once. Can you name each star’s first husband? Mariah – Tommy Mottola; J.Lo – Ojani Noa

Justin Bieber’s mother is not happy that her son has broken up with Selena Gomez. According to Radaronline, Pattie Mallette has been trying to convince her son to reconcile with Selena because she believes the actress is a good influence on him. “Justin’s mom has always been very close to Selena, and she’s impressed by what a good influence she’s been on her son,” a source tells Radar. “However, Selena doesn’t want to associate with the crowd Justin’s been hanging out with lately as she thinks they’re not to be trusted.” The source adds, “Selena is very careful who she spends time with and is very suspicious of people she doesn’t know – she doesn’t want to be with Justin all the time as he’s surrounding himself with what she thinks are really shady people.” Rumors of a reconciliation surfaced over the weekend, after Selena was spotted leaving Justin’s home early in the morning, but insiders believe it’s unlikely they’ll reunite. “I seriously doubt Justin and Selena will ever get back together,” claims the source. “They fight non-stop over just about everything.”
KRIS FIGHTS TO DELAY DIVORCE

Kim Kardashian is trying to speed up her divorce from Kris Humphries, but the NBA star isn’t giving up without a fight. A pregnant Kim is trying to speed up the trial date for the divorce, but because of his NBA schedule Kris won’t be available until mid May. According to docs filed by Kris’s lawyer, “What is really going on here is that an 'urgency' in the form of an apparently unplanned pregnancy, something [Humphries] had nothing to do with, is perceived by [Kim] as an opportunity to gain a litigation advantage by trying to force this court to prematurely set this matter for trial." Kris’ lawyer also sated that Kim didn’t have to concern herself that Kris would legally be presumed to be her child’s father if they are still married when she gives birth, because Kris will stipulate that he is not the daddy.

Brandi Glanville opens up to Glamour magazine about how difficult it is dealing with her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian’s new wife LeAnn Rimes. (Does she talk about anything else?) She says the hardest part is struggling with co-parenting her sons Mason, 9, and Jake, 5. “When I’m home alone on a holiday and LeAnn is tweeting pictures with my kids, it breaks my heart,” said Brandi. Said Brandi, “I’ve never found LeAnn to be remorseful. I found her to be like, ‘Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah, I got your family.'"
CRUISE SHIP EMPLOYEE SUIT AGAINST TRAVOLTA DROPPED

The cruise ship employee who accused John Travolta of sexual assault dropped his lawsuit on Monday. Fabian Zanzi sued the actor, claiming that during a 2009 cruise Travolta asked him for a neck massage and then dropped his robe, exposing himself. He also said Travolta offered him $12,000 for sex. Travolta’s lawyer tried to prevent the case from being heard in public, claiming the actor’s cruise ticket included an agreement to settle all disputes between a passenger and the cruise line via arbitration. But on Friday, a federal judge dismissed the argument, saying there’s no evidence Zanzi is bound by the agreement, which is actually between Travolta and the cruise line, Royal Caribbean International. During his sworn declaration, Travolta called the accusations “pure fabrication.” No reason for the dismissal was given.
Q-Travolta starred alongside Nicolas Cage in what John Woo action thriller? Face/Off

Michelle Williams tells InStyle magazine she’s glad the public seems to approve of her relationship with How I Met Your Mother star Jason Segel. “If people are happy about it that makes me feel good because in my head the opposite is often true — that people fault or blame you for things,” she says. “That’s really painful. You wish they would just want you to be happy, for your kid to be happy, and for you to have a good life and do good work.” She adds: “Any kind sentiment that the world can feed back, well, I won’t turn it down.” Michelle, whose new movie Oz: The Great And Powerful opens March 8th, is taking a little break from acting, and enjoying her life as a stay-at-home mom. “I cook and clean a lot these days.
