Looks like Amanda Bynes may be without a home. TMZ reports that on Friday she was forced to move out of her New York pad after her landlord threatened her with eviction. The management sent her a letter informing her that her lease would be terminated because they had received several complaints about marijuana smoking coming from her apartment, “morning, noon and night.” She was also reportedly seen smoking weed in the hallways of the non-smoking building. Insiders say instead of challenging the management, Amanda just decided to find a new place to live.

American Idol has been on barely three weeks and already we have our first contestant scandal. Matt Farmer auditioned on Wednesday’s show and recounted his emotional story about being hit by an IED while serving in Iraq. He claimed he suffered a brain injury and the medications he was taking was supposed to cause sterility, but six months later he found out he was going to be a daddy. Well, turns out the whole thing was a lie. After the segment aired, soldiers who served with Farmer claimed he wasn’t injured, and was actually kicked out of the army because of his problems with alcohol. After being confronted by the website Guardians of Valor, Farmer admitted he made the whole thing up. Farmer did receive a ticket to Hollywood although sources say he did not move on from there. It’s not known whether it was his lack of talent or his lies that got him kicked off the show.

The win for Affleck means that it will only be the seventh time since the DGA started handing out awards that the Oscars and the DGAs didn’t go to the same person.
HOFFMAN BLAMES TMZ AND PETA FOR LUCK'S CANCELLATION
During an interview with Fox 411 last week, Dustin Hoffman blamed the cancellation of his HBO series Luck on “a collaboration between PETA and TMZ,” which brought to light the deaths of several horses on the show. “Anyone who raises horses knows they break their legs,” Hoffman said. “The accusations they made were distorted. Every time we’d race the horses we’d rest them…I think they (PETA) were looking to get contributions. Somebody ought to do a movie about them.” Well, it didn’t take long for PETA to fight back. “Dustin Hoffman must have a really cold streak running through his heart, as he isn’t hesitant to disrespect whistleblowers and animals to advance his agenda,” the group told EW in a statement. “PETA wrote to him on two separate occasions urging him to use his position to help improve welfare conditions for the horses on the set of Luck after we were contacted by a dozen whistleblowers who were part of his production. Had he taken PETA’s warnings seriously instead of ignoring them, the life of the third horse could have been spared, the show might still be on the air, and his crew might still have their jobs.”
Q-In Hoffman’s 1979 film Kramer vs. Kramer, who played his estranged wife, a role that earned the actress her first Oscar? Meryl Streep
GIRLS CREATOR TO DEVELOP NEW SERIES
Lena Dunham is apparently not busy enough with her HBO show Girls. BASKETBALL GREAT IS NOT A GIRLS FAN
And speaking of Girls, one person who isn’t a fan is basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. In an editorial on the Huffington Post titled “Girls Just Wants to Have (White) Fun,” Kareem derides the series for its lack of diversity, writing “last season the show was criticized for being too white. Watching a full season could leave a viewer snow blind.” He adds that this season Donald Glover may have been added to the cast but he had “just enough screen time to have sex and mutter a couple of lines about wanting more of a relationship. A black dildo would have sufficed and cost less.” Kareem also doesn’t think the girls of the show are all that funny. “We're supposed to find these girls somehow charming because of their flawed characters,” he writes. “Their intense self-involvement is meant to be cute and it can be... at times. But not enough to overcome our impatience with their inability to have any personal insight. They're all educated but fatally ignorant.”
Q- Kareem Abdul-Jabbar played co-pilot Roger Murdock in what 80s comedy? Airplane!
