THE LATEST KIM/KRIS DIVORCE RUMORS

According to Radar, Kim Kardashian was so desperate to end her marriage to Kris Humphries quickly that she was willing to pay him $10 million to walk away, but he refused. “After Kim filed for divorce, she offered Kris a $10 million payoff with the agreement that he would not continue to pursue an annulment to their marriage on the grounds of fraud,” said the source. “Kris flatly rejected the offer because it has never been about money for him. He wants to be able to marry in a church again, with a clear conscience, when he finds someone special.” However, TMZ claims Radar’s story is false and Kim has never offered him any money to end the marriage. They claim Kim is even demanding he pay all of her legal fees. The site says Kris is now demanding $7 million to walk away from the marriage, but Kim won’t give him a dime.
FORMER IDOL CONTESTANTS TO SUE FOR DISCRIMINATION

Nine former American Idol contestants are getting ready to sue the show for racial discrimination. New York attorney James H. Freeman submitted a letter to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission asking permission to sue the show on behalf of African American contestants Corey Clark (Season 2), Jaered Andrews (Season 2), Donnie Williams (Season 3), Terrell Brittenum (Season 5), Derrell Brittenum (Season 5), Thomas Daniels (Season 6), Akron Watson (Season 6), Ju'Not Joyner (Season 8) and Chris Golightly (Season 9). Freeman states there were nine cases in which Idol publicly disqualified a candidate, and each time the contestant happened to be African American. He alleges the show has been carrying out a “cruel and inhumane” scheme to humiliate African American contestants for ratings. He says it starts when the show conducts background checks that ask whether anyone’s been arrested, which is a violation of California employment law, since the contestants are basically applying for “employment” with Idol. He adds that in the show’s 11 seasons they never publicly disqualified a white or non-African American contestant. Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe tells TMZ he’s “shocked” by the “ridiculous” allegations, adding, “We treat everybody the same…no matter the race, religion or sex.”

OPRAH FACES PROTEST OVER FORESKIN FACE CREAM

And speaking of weird beauty products…Oprah Winfrey’s upcoming appearance in Vancouver, Canada, is expected to draw protests because she endorses a face cream made of tissue grown from the cells of infant human foreskins. Oprah has publicly called SkinMedica’s creams, which go for $150 an ounce, her “magic fountain of youth.” But Glen Callender, who campaigns for “foreskin awareness,” calls Oprah a hypocrite for endorsing the product, especially since she’s taken a stand against female genital mutilation in Africa. “Imagine how Oprah would respond if a skin cream for men went on the market that was made from parts of the genitalia of little girls,” Callender told the Vancouver Sun.
