TMZ claims Demi was waiting to settle up a financial issue before filing. Demi and Ashton were married in 2005. BETHENNY SEPARATES FROM HUBBY
After months of denial, reality star Bethenny Frankel confirmed over the weekend that she was separating from her husband of two years Jason Hoppy. "This was an extremely difficult decision that as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family,” said Bethenny in a statement. The couple has a two year old daughter Bryn. Just last week, Radar reported that Jason was unhappy because Bethenny continuously chose work over him. "Jason has made it crystal clear to Bethenny that he is not in favor of her continuing her talk show, which will be filming in Los Angeles," a source tells Radar. "Jason hates L.A. and doesn't want to move to California, even for the sake of his wife's career…. Bethenny suspects though that Jason's beef isn't with living in Los Angeles, but rather how unhappy he is in the marriage. Things are so bad between the two of them right now they are hardly even talking to each other."

LINDSAY REFUSED TO KISS CHARLIE
Lindsay Lohan was supposed to lock lips with Charlie Sheen for her Scary Movie 5 cameo, but TMZ reports she refused because of Charlie’s wild past (talk about the pot calling the kettle black). According to sources, Lindsay was supposed to kiss Charlie three times, but balked, even though both parties had to sign releases confirming they didn’t have any cold sores. TMZ says in the end, a body double was used for some of the kissing but most of it was written out of the script. Scary Movie 5 hits theaters April 12th.

LINDSAY UPSET OVER SCARY TRAILER
Meanwhile Lindsay is reportedly upset over the Scary Movie 5 trailer that was released last week. In the Paranormal Activity spoof, Lindsay is seen screaming at fake news footage of her heading into court because her probation was revoked. TMZ claims in the original script, Lindsay was simply watching her movie Herbie: Fully Loaded. Sources say Linds is “pissed” because the filmmakers “secretly inserted an extra dig at her expense,” and she was supposed to be informed about all the jokes made about her. She’s reportedly considering legal action.

MOTHER COMING BACK FOR SEASON 9
It looks like How I Met Your Mother fans will have to wait a little longer to meet the mother. According to reports, Segel had a last minute change of heart and agreed to another year. So far there has been no confirmation from CBS.
ROSIE NOT IN RUNNING FOR AMERICA’S GOT TALENT
There’s been recent internet speculation that Rosie O’Donnell was in the running to replace Sharon Osbourne on America’s Got Talent, and she was even quoted as saying she was interested in the gig, but it doesn’t look like she’s gonna get it. A spokesperson for NBC shot down the reports saying the network “is not in talks with Rosie O’Donnell for America’s Got Talent and has no future plans for her to be a judge.” One person who is extremely happy with that news is Rosie’s nemesis Donald Trump. He tweeted last week, “@Rosie--If America's Got Talent uses you, the show will fail like all your others!

She is married to one of the sexiest men in the world, but Victoria Beckham wants everyone to believe there was a time when she could barely get a date. In a new UK special, the 38-year-old revealed that she was quite lonely during the early days of the Spice Girls. “There was a stage where someone wrote once how every woman wanted to be one of us and every man wanted to date one of us,” she said. “Not that anyone wanted to date me. I think everyone wanted to sort of like just brush my hair.” Victoria added that she got the name Posh because she likes the finer things in life, and that hasn’t changed. “I am very much that person even now,” she said. “Even now, I get ready to go out sometimes and I catch myself in the mirror and I’m like, ‘oh my God, I’ve turned into that person.’”
UKRAINIAN POLITICIAN USES ANTI-SEMITIC SLUR AGAINST KUNIS
A politician in the Ukraine is being blasted for making an anti-Semitic remark about Ted star Mila Kunis. Igor Miroshnichenko called Kunis, who was born in the Ukraine, a “zhydovka” which translates to “Jewess” and was used as a derogatory slur against Jewish people during the Holocaust. Jewish organizations around the world are furious over the word’s use and, according to TMZ, protests have recently broken out in the Ukraine after the Justice Ministry ruled using it to describe a Jewish person was legal, despite a petition to have its use banned. So far Kunis has not responded to the politician’s remarks.

NRA BLAMES MOVIES AND VIDEO GAMES FOR GUN VIOLENCE
The National Rifle Association last week blamed Hollywood for the gun violence plaguing America. NRA VP Wayne LaPierre, in the group’s first statement since the shootings in Newtown, CT, said “blood-soaked films” and video games are at fault, adding that “they call it entertainment” when it is “the filthiest form of pornography.” He also said the way to stop tragedies like Newtown would be to have armed security in schools. Said LaPierre, “The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.”

TEEN MOM TURNS DOWN TWITTER PROPOSAL
Twitter proposals seem to be the next big thing. Just one week after Deadmau5 popped the question to girlfriend Kat Von D, Teen Mom Maci Bookout received a proposal from her baby daddy, Ryan Edwards. Ryan and Macy, who share custody of their four-year-old son Bentley, haven’t been a couple for years, but they both recently became single, so apparently their status may have changed. “Marry Me!,” wrote Ryan. But Maci didn’t think the tweet was real and suggested his account may have been hacked. He insisted the tweet was genuine and added, “I want to get on one knee an (sic) tell you how much I love you.” But Maci didn’t find the proposal romantic at all, and shot him down cold, writing, “Twitter is not the place. Ima kill u.”
AFFLECK TALKS POLITICAL ASPIRATIONS
Ben Affleck was in Washington, DC last week to testify before Congress about the crisis in the Congo, which led many to speculate that the actor/director was thinking about a future in politics. During an appearance on Sunday’s Face the Nation, host Bob Schieffer actually asked him outright about his intentions. “For one thing, the state of Massachusetts currently has two extraordinary Senators, so there is no vacancy,” said Affleck. When Schieffer pointed out that “there could be” if John Kerry replaces Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State, Affleck replied, “Well, one never knows. I'm not one to get into conjecture. I have a great fondness and admiration for the political process in this country...but I'm not going to get into speculation about my political future." But after Kerry was tapped by President Obama for Hillary’s seat, Affleck clarified his intentions, saying, “I love Massachusetts and our political process, but I am not running for office.”

CARLY SONENCLAR’S FAMILY FURIOUS AT LEANN
The family of 13-year-old X Factor runner-up Carly Rose Sonenclar is not happy that LeAnn Rimes blamed the teen for LeAnn’s awkward performance on the show’s finale. After LeAnn was accused of being drunk she told TMZ, “I was trying to help this 13-year-old girl who was having some trouble with the song.” Rimes later denied she ever gave the quote to the site, but TMZ insists the singer’s rep specifically gave it to them to use. Regardless, Carly Rose’s relatives are furious LeAnn placed the blame on the teen, when it was clear LeAnn was the one having problems.
APATOW WRITING PLAY
Writer/director Judd Apatow reveals in the new issue of GQ magazine that he is writing a play, and despite what you’d expect, it’s not going to be a comedy. “I have a great idea. Maybe like the best idea I’ve ever had,” he said. “It requires me to create characters and situations that have absolutely nothing to do with my experience.” As for the storyline, Apatow explains, “It’s about victims of the criminal-justice system and the challenges they face,” adding, “I am excited to write something which has a social conscience. That is not something I have attempted before, and I hope I am up for the challenge.”

Added Mazzara, “My time as showrunner on The Walking Dead has been an amazing experience, but after I finish season 3, it’s time to move on. I have told the stories I wanted to tell and connected with our fans on a level that I never imagined. It doesn’t get much better than that. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey.”
