LOHAN NOT TO BLAME FOR TRASHED TRAILER

Earlier this year, Lindsay was blamed for trashing her trailer on the set of Scary Movie 5, with one report alleging she clogged its toilet, as well as other toilets on the set. Well, Lindsay is vehemently denying to friends she was responsible for the trailer being destroyed. She claims producers were upset she missed the first day of shooting (she said she had walking pneumonia) and when she finally arrived, the trailer was already a disaster. She says after she was done shooting her cameo she was told she would not get her full paycheck in order to cover the damages.  Lindsay’s friends say she tried to fight execs over the cut in her salary, but after weeks of negotiations she finally gave in and took the lesser amount.

She’s actually one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. APATOW WON’T EDIT SCENE FROM MOVIE

Judd Apatow tells TMZ he has no plans to cut a scene from his new movie This Is 40 in which a character jokingly plays a “murder game” with his kids. In the scene in question, Albert Brooks’ character, who is looking for ways to save money, is getting ready to spray his kid with a hose and jokes, "Line up! Line up for murder!  Come on!  Who wants to be killed?" and then after he sprays them, adds, “all right, the kids are murdered. That will save us money.” Apatow says he wrote the script two years ago, long before the Connecticut tragedy, and says it “is spoken by a sarcastic father kidding with his kids.” Apatow adds, “In light of recent events I understand if some people might make an unfortunate association or put it in a context in which it was not intended.” This is 40 opens Friday.

KIMMEL TALKS COMPETING WITH LENO

Jimmy Kimmel doesn’t seem to be worried about going up against Jay Leno now that Jimmy Kimmel Live is moving to 11:35 pm. As much as he would like it, Jay Leno can’t stay on television forever and Jimmy Fallon is the heir apparent,” he explained. The Tonight Show plans to move up their start time to 11:34 to get a minute head start on the ABC late night talker, which Kimmel takes as a bit of a complement.  “It tells me that they are a bit concerned,” he said. “I’ll be curious to see how long that goes on. That’s a trick designed to bring up their ratings in the first month. What really matters is how you do in May and that’s when we’ll know where we stand.”
