Sounds like Jessica Simpson may be a December bride. Radaronline reports that Jess and fiancé Eric Johnson, who are reportedly expecting their second child, have invited a close group of friends and family to Hawaii on December 21^st, and there’s speculation they are planning to get hitched while they’re there. “No one quite knows what is being planned, but family members are speculating that they could be planning a surprise wedding,” said a source.   Adds another, “(Jess) just wants a relaxed and intimate ceremony and has been dropping hints that the big day could be right before Christmas.”

Former Scrubs star Donald Faison wed longtime girlfriend Cacee Cobb on Saturday at the home of his Scrubs co-star Zach Braff. Cobb is Jessica Simpson’s best friend and former assistant, and Jess was a bridesmaid at the  wedding. Jess’ mom and dad, as well as he sister Ashlee also attended  the wedding.

Kelly Clarkson is getting hitched. The American Idol champ announced on Twitter Saturday that her boyfriend Brandon Blackstock popped the question.  “I'm engaged!" she tweeted. "I wanted y'all to know! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever." Kelly later posted a picture of her new ring, which she says Blackstock designed.

Kat Von D and DJ Deadmau5 are engaged. The DJ actually popped the question on Twitter Saturday, writing, “I can’t wait for Christmas so…. Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?” along with a photo of a ring with two skulls on either side of a diamond. Kat, who was previously engaged to Jesse James, must have said yes because Deamau5 later tweeted, “holy f**king s**t. im engaged,” adding that he was going to “spend the rest of my evening with my future wife :)”

Former America’s Next Top Model judge Janice Dickinson has gotten engaged to Dr. Robert Gerner, who she’s been dating for about three months. "I intend to make Rocky the happiest man in the world for the rest of his life," Dickinson, 57, told Us Weekly. "I couldn't be happier right now. Oh! And our wedding is going to make Brad and Angelina's look like a trip to city hall!"

LINDSAY PLEADS FOR NO JAIL TIME

Lindsay Lohan won’t know if she’s headed to jail until January, but she’s pulling out all the stops to try and make sure that doesn’t happen. According to TMZ, Linds is asking friends, family and even her spiritual guru (only in Hollywood) to write letters to the judge on her behalf, arguing that prison isn’t good for the actress.   Last week a judge revoked Lindsay’s probation in her jewelry theft case because she was charged with lying to police in California. A hearing on whether Lindsay will be sent to prison for the violation is set for January 25^th.

INTRUDER ARRESTED AT SWIFT’S NASHVILLE HOME

A 24-year-old man was arrested Friday for trespassing at Taylor Swift’s Nashville home. Jacob Kulke took a bus from Wisconsin to be with Swift on her birthday. He hopped a fence on the property and was immediately detained by the singer’s security.  Kulke reportedly had a knife and when cops questioned him he told them he was the boyfriend of the homeowner.  He also said he had been in contact with Swift via social media and they were dating, and he decided to surprise her for her birthday. Kulke was booked and held on $10,000 bond.  Gossip Cop reports that Taylor was in Europe at the time of the incident, and doesn’t actually live at the house where Kulke was caught.

BYNES SETTLES HIT-AND-RUN CASES

Radaronline reports that Amanda Bynes has reached a financial settlement with two separate victims who claimed the actress hit their car and then fled. In exchange for money, both parties agreed to drop their complaints. The judge in the case has signed off on the settlement and the prosecutor approved it, which means the two misdemeanor hit-and-run charges filed against Amanda in September will be dropped. Said an insider, “Amanda took responsibility for her actions, and the court recognized that.”

STRIP CLUB OFFERS LINDSAY JOB

Lindsay Lohan has received a job offer that may help her pay off her storage locker bill. Just last week, TMZ reported that because of an outstanding $16,000 bill, a storage company may auction off the contents of one of Lindsay’s lockers. Well, now the site reports the New York strip club Scores is offering to pay that bill if Lindsay becomes the online video chat host for its website, ScoresLive.com. The job does not require Lindsay to get nude. Scores has even offered to pay the rent on Lindsay’s Beverly Hills pad for the next few months. So far Lindsay has not responded to the offer.

WILDE DENIES ENGAGEMENT

Olivia Wilde has denied a Radaronline report that claimed she and boyfriend Jason Sudeikis were engaged and planning to wed in his hometown of Kansas City. “No, I am not engaged,” she tweeted Thursday, adding, “But I AM at the Stones show and holy s**t Ronnie Wood you got style, boy. It’s just a fact.” Meanwhile, sources tell the New York Daily News that not only are Wilde and Sudeikis not getting hitched, there may be trouble in paradise.  An insider says the couple has been on the outs since Thanksgiving when “they got into a fight over text messages [Jason] found on [Olivia’s] phone.” Added the insider, “It’s been rough. They’re still talking (but) it’s a rocky road.”

BROOKE TAKES KIDS FROM DENISE BECAUSE OF CHARLIE

There’s apparently still some major bad blood between Charlie Sheen and his ex-wife Brooke Mueller.  According to TMZ, while Brooke is in rehab, she asked Charlie’s ex Denise Richards to care for her twin sons Bob and Max. But when Denise told Brooke she was planning to take the boys to Charlie’s Anger Management kids’ Christmas party, Brooke went ballistic. Brooke was furious and told Denise she didn’t want Charlie anywhere near the kids. So, Denise didn’t take them  to the party, but Brooke was still angry and the next day Brooke her mother Moira went to Denise’s home and took the twins.   Brooke is reportedly mad at Charlie because she thought the kids’ long-time nanny was spying on her for the actor. Brooke immediately fired the woman, but Charlie wants to hire her back for the kids’ sake.

Matt Damon plays Michael Douglas’ lover in Behind the Candelabra, the upcoming HBO Liberace movie, which of course meant the pair had some very intimate scenes. “Normally I’d say no to nudity, but I just did a lot of it,” he told Playboy. “I mean, it’s tastefully done…But this movie’s not going to be for everyone.” Matt also had to lock lips with Douglas for the film. “For one scene, I had to come out of the pool, go over to Michael Douglas, straddle him on a chaise lounge and start kissing him. Three months after giving birth to son Jack, actress Anna Faris has shed some pounds, but she’s not obsessing about getting back to her pre-pregnancy weight. As for how she’s done it, Faris told People, “I think it’s from hauling around the little guy. I’m trying to do it without help. So it’s been a lot of lifting.” But Faris says her husband Chris Pratt would rather she keep the weight on. “I have the sweetest husband. He makes me feel good at any weight,” she said. “In fact, I kinda think he likes it when my butt is a little bit bigger.”

Former Felicity star Scott Speedman knows fans of the WB hit would love to see a reunion, but it doesn’t sound like he’d really be into it. “People want a reunion,” he told Playboy. “I joke that I’d totally do it if it’s years later and my character Ben weighs 500 pounds. MORE SHOPLIFTING ALLEGATIONS AGAINST PARKER MAKEUP ARTIST

Sarah Jessica Parker’s makeup artist insists she did not shoplift a pair of sunglasses at a shop at the Oslo airport, but the glasses may not be the only thing she lifted during the trip.  Leslie Lopez, Parker’s makeup artist since 2005, says she mistakenly forgot to pay for the glasses as she was rushing to catch a plane, but TMZ reports that during the same trip, a tube of lipstick disappeared from another store and prior to that it was in Lopez’s possession. Surveillance video shows Lopez picking up the item and then moving out of range of the cameras. After Lopez left, the store realized the lipstick was gone and filled out a police report.  A Lopez source confirms she had the lipstick, but says she then gave it to someone in the entourage.
