AUSSIE DJS HEARTBROKEN OVER NURSE’S SUICIDE
The two Australian DJs responsible for the prank call to the hospital where The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton was being treated have spoken out for the first time since the nurse involved in the prank committed suicide. 2DayFM DJs Mel Greig and Michael Christian said Jacintha Saldanha’s death had left them “shattered, gutted, heartbroken.” Greig said when she heard the news her first thought was of Jacintha’s family. “Unfortunately I remember that moment very well, because I haven't stopped thinking about it since it happened," she told an Aussie TV station, while wiping away tears. "I remember my first question was 'was she a mother?’” (Jacintha was a mother of two.) “I've wanted to just reach out to them and just give them a big hug and say sorry. I hope they're okay, I really do. I hope they get through this.” Added Christian, “I hope that they get the love, the support, the care that they need, you know.” As for the prank, Greig said she never imagined they’d actually succeed. “We thought a hundred people before us would've tried it,” she said. “We thought it was such a silly idea and the accents were terrible and not for a second did we expect to speak to Kate, let alone have a conversation with anyone at the hospital. We wanted to be hung up on.” Southern Cross Austereo, the company that owns 2DayFM, says they’ve received more than 1,000 complaints about the DJs. As of Monday, they “terminated” the duo’s show and implemented “a company-wide suspension of all prank calls.”
LINDSAY BAILS ON MILLION DOLLAR DECORATORS
When will people learn not to do business with Lindsay Lohan? TMZ reports the Liz & Dick star let down the producers of Million Dollar Decorators after backing out of a $200,000 deal to renovate the Beverly Hills home she’s currently renting. According to the site, Lindsay agreed to appear on the Bravo show, and even shot segments shopping with decorators. The program spent $200,000 on furniture and other items for the home, only to have Lindsay refuse to take part in the show’s big reveal. And what’s even worse, producers couldn’t even shoot the final outcome if they wanted to because Lindsay left the place so messy it was “completely unfilmable.” Word is, Bravo is trying to save the episode by using extra post-renovation footage without Lindsay.
ANISTON’S BUDDIES FEUDING OVER BACHELORETTE PARTY
Jennifer Aniston’s two best friends are not getting along. Aniston is great friends with both Courteney Cox and Chelsea Handler, and, according to Perez Hilton, the two women are fighting over how to celebrate Aniston’s impending wedding to Justin Theroux. Seems Handler wants to throw a big bachelorette party with strippers, but Cox is not into that. "Courteney thinks a stereotypical party is a bit crass. Jen's begged them to come together, but neither wants to budge,” claimed a source. “It's ridiculous. Chelsea and Courteney have never managed to bond, despite Jen's desperate attempts…It means a lot to her that they get along. Chelsea feels she's already made the effort and Courteney just thinks she's not very mature."
DEMI DUMPED BY YOUNG BEAU
Demi Moore is single once again. According to the New York Post, Demi’s short fling with art dealer Vito Schnabel is over. Vito, who is 26, ended things with the 50-year-old last week in Miami, where Moore was seen enjoying herself at an Art Basel after-party. "Vito wasn’t too happy that Demi flew down to party at Art Basel while he was working to build his business. It was a distraction he didn’t need while all the big collectors were in town," said a source. Demi and Vito reportedly began dating in November after meeting at a party thrown by Naomi Campbell in India.

MUELLER ABUSING ADDERALL
Over the weekend, Brooke Mueller denied she was rushed to the hospital after overdosing, but now she’s coming clean about her latest drug issues. According to TMZ, Brooke has been telling friends she has been abusing the drug Adderall. Brooke has a valid prescription for the drug, which treats attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, but says she “fell off the wagon” last week and took more than her prescribed dosage. Insiders say Brooke, who is now making jewelry, took the pills because she was trying to meet a deadline for an order and didn’t have time to sleep.
ANDERSON’S TAX PROBLEM
Lindsay Lohan isn’t the only actress who owes money to the government. TMZ reports that two tax liens have been taken out on Pamela Anderson, one by the IRS for over $250,000 (for unpaid taxes in 2011) and one by the State of California for over $100,000 (also for 2011). In total, the Dancing with the Stars competitor owes $371.514.65.

FOURTH ACCUSER SUES ELMO PUPPETEER
Another lawsuit has been filed against Elmo puppeteer Kevin Clash. A fourth man is accusing Clash of having a sexual relationship with him when he was a minor and has filed a federal lawsuit in New York under the name John Doe. The man says he first met Clash in Miami in 1995 when he was 16 or 17, and Clash was in his thirties. He says Clash flew him to New York, gave him a place to stay, and they had sex on multiple occasions. He is claiming he suffered emotional, mental and psychological damage from the relationship.

Honey Boo Boo’s father suffered a bit of a health scare over the weekend. Sugar Bear was playing Santa for the family’s annual Christmas Toy Drive outside their Georgia home Saturday when he started feeling ill. “Usually you’re allowed to sit on Sugar Bear’s lap,” a source told E! “But he was not feeling well…they were worried his blood pressure was getting high.” An ambulance was called to the home, but Sugar Bear wasn’t taken to the hospital, he was simply checked out by paramedics.

Brandi Glanville is once again complaining about LeAnn Rimes on Twitter, although this time she may have a point. Seems Brandi is upset her that her two sons appeared on LeAnn’s E! special Sunday, especially since her ex Eddie Cibrian won’t let the kids be on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Kristen Stewart has confirmed she’ll star alongside Ben Affleck in the upcoming romantic comedy Focus. Kristen told the Huffington Post, “It’s a comedy. I’m really excited about it. We start shooting in April.” The film stars Affleck as a veteran con artist who teams up with a woman (Stewart) who is new to the con game.
The Los Angeles Film Critics Association has named the French-language drama Amour Best Film of the Year, while one of its star, Emmanuelle Riva tied Jennifer Lawrence (Silver Linings Playbook) for Best Actress. The Best Actor honor went to Joaquin Phoenix for The Master, while Best Supporting Actress went to Amy Adams for the same film and Beasts of the Southern Wild’s Dwight Henry nabbed Best Supporting Actor.
Zero Dark Thirty has topped yet another Best of 2012 list. The film, about the raid on Osama Bin Laden, was named Best Picture by the Boston Society of Film Critics, and its director Kathryn Bigelow was named Best Director. Other winners included: Daniel Day-Lewis, Best Actor, Lincoln; Emmanuelle Riva, Best Actress, Amour; Ezra Miller, Best Supporting Actor, The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Sally Field, Best Supporting Actress, Lincoln.

Will Ferrell is in talks to star in the Warner Bros. comedy Get Hard. The film will star Ferrell as an investment banker who’s sentenced to jail time, so he hires a street smart guy, played by comedian Kevin Hart, to prepare him for the big house.

Robert Patrick is sticking around True Blood. The actor, who appeared in three episodes of the HBO drama last season as Alcide’s (Joe Manganiello) father, has been upped to series regular for the upcoming season.
Kim Kardashian will appear on the January 8th episode of NBC’s hidden camera show Betty White’s Off Their Rockers. Kim’s episode will see her getting a makeover before hitting the town with White.
