Taylor Swift and One Direction’s Harry Styles continue to flaunt their new romance around Manhattan. After being honored by her ex-boyfriend Conor Kennedy’s family at the Ripple of Hope Awards in New York Monday night, Taylor met up with Harry, who had just finished playing Madison Square Garden. The couple participated in some karaoke at the Hudson Hotel and was spotted holding hands as they left just before 4:15 am. Then on Tuesday, both Harry and Taylor were seen leaving the same hotel, although they did so separately.

LINDSAY NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR IRS PROBLEM
What a shock – Lindsay Lohan isn’t taking responsibility for her outstanding IRS bill. On Monday it was reported that the IRS had frozen Lindsay’s bank accounts because she owed more than $230,000 in taxes for 2009 and 2010. “Lindsay is freaking out,” a source tells the New York Post. “And she’s doing what she always does which is to say it’s not her fault and point the finger at someone else in her team. She says she didn’t know anything about it…she’s broke and it’s not her fault.” Lindsay’s managers are trying to work out a way to pay off the bill, with the source adding, “It will be resolved by the end of the year.” As for where Lindsay will get the dough, the insider says, “She’s a hustler and always finds somebody at the last minute to bail her out.”
MALCOLM IN MIDDLE STAR SUFFERS MINI STROKE
TMZ reports that former Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz suffered a mini stroke last week. The 27-year-old was taken to an Arizona hospital Friday after friends realized he was “acting really weird” and was having trouble speaking. Doctors currently have no idea what caused the stroke, and are awaiting test results.

HEF & CRYSTAL GET MARRIAGE LICENSE
Looks like Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris will indeed be walking down the aisle soon. TMZ reports that the couple was at the Beverly Hills Courthouse yesterday morning filling out the paperwork to get their marriage license. The duo plans to tie the knot on New Year’s Eve at the Playboy Mansion. Of course, whether they actually make it down the aisle remains to be seen. Last June Harris called off their wedding only five days before the big event.
JOLIE TO GIVE UP ACTING
Angelina Jolie is thinking about retiring from acting in order to spend more time with her kids. “I think I’m going to have to give up the acting as the kids hit the teenage years, anyway, too much to manage at home,” she told Britain’s Channel 4. “I have enjoyed being an actress. I am so grateful to the job and I have had great experiences and I have even been able to tell stories and be a part of stories that mattered and I have done things for fun, but...if it went away tomorrow I would be very happy to be home with the children.”

MURPHY NAMED MOST OVERPAID ACTOR
Eddie Murphy has topped this year’s Forbes list of the most overpaid actors in Hollywood. According to the mag, every dollar Murphy made for his last three films (Imagine That, A Thousand Words and Meet Dave), returned an average of $2.30 at the box office. Coming in at number two is former Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl, whose films earned $3.40 for every dollar, followed by Reese Witherspoon ($3.90 per dollar), Sandra Bullock ($5.20 per dollar) and Jack Black ($5.20 per dollar).

ANDERSON COOPER BLINDED FOR 36 HOURS
Anderson Cooper revealed on his talk show yesterday that he was temporarily blinded last week while on assignment for 60 Minutes in Portugal. Anderson said he was in the water for two hours, and was blinded by UV light that was bouncing off the water. "I wake up in the middle of the night and it feels like my eyes are on fire, my eyeballs and I think, oh maybe I have sand in my eyes or something," Cooper explained on Anderson Live. "I douse my eyes with water. Anyway, it turns out I have sunburned my eyeballs and I go blind. I went blind for 36 hours." Cooper shared a picture of his bandaged eye, and showed he’s able to laugh about the incident, saying, “That's my new Match.com profile picture by the way. I think that's going to really work for me."
FOX RESURRECTING THE X-FILES?
Is Fox bringing back Agents Mulder and Scully? The X-Files producer Frank Spotnitz recently revealed that the studio may be interested in resurrecting the show. “I wouldn’t be surprised at all,” he told the science-fiction website Den of Geek. “You know for better or for worse, these things are titles of big corporations, like Star Trek belongs to Paramount and The X-Files belongs to 20th Century Fox. It’s a huge asset in their libraries so I can’t imagine they would let it sit languishing forever.” Of course that doesn’t mean David Duchovny or Gillian Anderson would return. When the interviewer suggested, “Mulder and Scully: The College Years?,” Spotnitz replied, “Anything could happen.”

SEINFELD VOTED GREATEST SITCOM
Seinfeld has been named the Greatest Sitcom in a new poll conducted by 60 Minutes and Vanity Fair. The NBC comedy received 22 percent of the vote to beat The Honeymooners, which received 20 percent. Coming in at number three was Friends, followed by Cheers, Arrested Development, The Mary Tyler Moore Show and 30 Rock. (Wondering where I Love Lucy was? Well, apparently it wasn’t a choice on the poll.) The survey also asked voters which late night host would most likely make them laugh and Jay Leno topped the list. BURKE TO UNDERGO THYROID SURGERY THIS WEEK
After announcing last month she’d been diagnosed with thyroid cancer, Brooke Burke-Charvet revealed on her Facebook page that she’s scheduled to undergo surgery this week. “I'm getting ready this week for my surgery and am planning on a speedy recovery,” she wrote. “What a crazy time, but I am surrounded with love and support and that really makes a world of difference.”
CHARGERS FAN SAYS LACHEY TRIED TO CHOKE HIM
A San Diego Chargers fan is disputing Nick Lachey’s account of what happened during Sunday’s NFL game against the Cincinnati Bengals, which led to Nick and his friends getting kicked out of the stadium. While Nick denied he was doing any trash talking, the Chargers fan tells TMZ it got so bad Nick actually tried to choke him. Apparently Nick made a comment about former Chargers player Igor Olshansky (the fan was wearing the player’s jersey), and the man’s wife shot back, “Well, he lasted longer than your boy band.” That infuriated Nick who allegedly called the woman a “f**king b*tch,” as well as “a host of other profanities.” Nick then lunged toward the guy, grabbed him by the throat and shoved him to the ground. That’s when security was called in and ejected Nick and his friends, but not the Chargers fan. A rep for Nick denies the man’s version of events, saying, “This is a gross misrepresentation of what happened. It was nothing but a spirited debate between fans of opposing teams. At no point did Nick say anything derogatory to the man’s wife and anything to suggest the contrary is simply untrue.” Nick also says he simply left the stadium, and was not kicked out. The Chargers fan claims he will file a police report in connection with the incident.
CELEBRITY REHAB STAR ACCUSED OF CHEATING ON DRUG TEST
Celebrity Rehab star Kari Ann Peniche may lose custody of her child due to her drug problem. According to TMZ, one of Peniche’s friends has filed a declaration in court claiming Kari cheated on a drug test by ordering urine off the internet and injecting it into her genital area in order to pass her test. A judge in Peniche’s custody case has since ruled she’s a danger to her son, and will not allow her unmonitored visits with the child. But Kari says the friend is lying. “Kari Ann adamantly denies any and all negative allegations that have been made against her in her case. There has not been any evidence to establish that Kari Ann has, at any time, placed her son in harm’s way,” says her rep. "Kari Ann has been a competent, caring and loving mother and will continue to do all that she lawfully can do to protect the health, safety and welfare of her son."

KAT VON D GETS RESTRAINING ORDER AGAINST CRAZED FAN
Reality show star/tattoo artist Kat Von D has taken out a restraining order against a crazed fan who has been sending her creepy messages on the internet, and showed up at her LA home. Kat says a man named Michael Nunn has been contacting her on Twitter, talking about her personal life and even posting her home phone on the web. She says the “delusional” Nunn showed up at her house in April and then approached her again at a public event in June. The restraining order requires Nunn to stay 100 yards away from Kat and prohibits him from contacting her over the internet.
CAVALLARI SAYS THE HILLS WAS FAKE
By now everyone knows The Hills was fake, but for some reason it’s still news when the stars of the show admit it. Kristin Cavallari was on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live Monday and admitted the MTV hit was “pretty fake” and she was “pretty much” told what to say. Cavallari made the admission while playing “Plead the Fifth,” where she also said she participated in “fake relationships” and “fake fights” for the series. When asked if her “distaste” for nemesis Lauren Conrad was “fake for the camera too,” Cavallari replied, “No,” but added that producers, “made it a lot worse than it was.”

FX has announced that the new spy series The Americans, starring Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys, will premiere Wednesday, January 30th. Other FX premiere dates include: Justified, Tuesday, January 8th and Anger Management, Archer and the new comedy Legit, Thursday, January 17th.
ABC announced yesterday that the next season of Dancing with the Stars will premiere Monday, March 18th. Seth MacFarlane is eyeing a Western for his directorial follow-up to the hit comedy Ted. According to the Hollywood Reporter, MacFarlane and his Ted co-writers have penned A Million Ways to Die in the West, which is being described as being in the vein of Blazing Saddles. MacFarlane is reportedly planning direct and star in the project.
