ARGUMENT ENDS SELENA/JUSTIN DATE AFTER 10 MIN

It sure looks like a Justin Bieber/Selena Gomez reunion is not going to happen. The former couple was spotted together several times last week, but things don’t look promising.  On Wednesday, Justin picked up Selena at LAX and they went back to her place. The next morning they were seen together at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, although they entered at separate times. But if things were civil, that all changed Friday.  Selena and Justin went to dinner at a San Fernando Valley Japanese restaurant, but the date didn’t last long. About ten minutes into the meal, they got into an epic argument, and the date was over. Selena left in her own car, with Justin following her to her home, but Selena wouldn’t let him in.  Meanwhile, Saturday, Selena spent the evening with the queen of broken hearts – Taylor Swift. The two stars were seen having dinner together in Los Angeles.

LOHAN DENIES KNOWLEDGE OF HALF SISTER

Maybe Lindsay Lohan is a better actress than we think. On Friday, she was asked on Good Morning America how she felt about reports her dad Michael Lohan had fathered an illegitimate daughter 17 years ago, and, despite the news being everywhere, she claimed to know nothing about it.  “I didn’t hear that so thanks for the news,” she said when asked about Ashley Horn, who was revealed to be Michael’s daughter on the syndicated Trisha Goddard show. “I don’t pay attention to any of that.”  And while Lindsay may not have known about her sister, now that she does  she wants nothing to do with her. TMZ reports that Lindsay’s been  telling friends she’s total done with the “circus,” that is her dad, and  has no desire to meet her new sister.

The GMA interview didn’t touch on her personal troubles too much, although she was asked how her career would have been different if she wasn’t under such constant scrutiny. "I think that everyone goes through things in life, and I like to learn from my mistakes, obviously,” she said. “I wouldn't be who I am today if I hadn't gone through certain things and everything happens for a reason -- good or bad. So you can just take what you've learned from it and move forward.”

MAN ARRESTED FOR PLANNING MASSACRE DURING TWILIGHT SCREENING

A Missouri man was arrested Thursday for plotting to shoot up a theater showing The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. Blaec Lammers was charged with first degree assault, making a terrorist threat and armed criminal action after his mother contacted police telling them he bought weapons similar to the ones used during the Aurora, Colorado shooting that killed 12 people during a screening of The Dark Knight Rises. According to police, Lammers purchased two assault rifles and 400 rounds of ammo, allegedly for hunting, but then told cops he had homicidal thoughts, and added he had “a lot in common with the people that have been involved in those shootings.”  He eventually admitted to buying tickets to a Sunday screening of the final Twilight movie, with the intention of shooting people in the theater. He then changed his mind and decided to go on his shooting spree at a local Wal-Mart because he could refill his ammunition there if he had run out.

HARSH REVIEW FOR LIZ & DICK

 

Meanwhile, the reviews of Lindsay’s new Lifetime movie Liz & Dick are out, and they certainly are mixed. While the New York Post liked the film, the Hollywood Reporter eviscerated it, calling it a “half trainwreck, half SNL skit,” that is “spectacularly bad.” The reviewer also likened it to “a high school play” that “truly drags.” The critic adds that Lindsay is “woeful as Taylor from start to finish” and “there is not one minute in this film where she’s believable.” Finally, the critic writes, “Lohan as Taylor was a bad idea in the dramatic sense, but it’s pure genius both for marketing and for belly laughs and drinking games.” Liz & Dick airs November 25th.

KRIS DENIES DIVORCE CLAIMS

Kris Jenner is denying a National Enquirer report that claimed she and hubby Bruce Jenner were headed for divorce. “They’re crazy,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I called (Bruce) this morning and said, ‘honey, I think we’re getting a divorce.’ We were laughing. He goes, ‘I’m at the hobby shop, can you leave me alone with this cr*p?’ It was very funny.”  As for how she handles the constant rumors about her family, Kris explained, “You just have to take it in stride. Life is good right now. We can laugh about it. We‘re strong. We’ve been such a tight-knit family for so long. To keep addressing (the rumors) every single time gets old.”

ROSSI BEATS EX IN COURT

Real Housewives of Orange County’s Gretchen Rossi was victorious last week in her three-year court battle against ex-beau Jay Photoglou. Back in 2008, when Rossi joined Housewives, she was engaged to millionaire Jeff Beitzel, who was suffering from leukemia, and died that September.  Photoglou reportedly told  Gretchen’s fellow Housewives that she faked the relationship with Beitzel to get on the show, and that she was really still involved with him.  Gretchen insisted she only dated Jay briefly, and later called him a “thief and a liar.” They both sued each other for defamation, but those charges were thrown out of court.  But Gretchen was allowed to sue Jay for stalking, breach of contract and intentional emotional distress, and wound up winning. Jay was ordered to pay Gretchen $500,000 in damages, and another $23,250 in punitive damages.

BROWN PLEADS NOT GUILTY

Bobby Brown pled not guilty Friday to his latest DUI arrest. The New Edition singer was charged with DUI last month after cops pulled him over for driving erratically and smelled alcohol. He was also charged with driving with a restricted license and driving without a vehicle interlock device. The last two charges stemmed from his 2011 DUI conviction. If convicted on the new counts he faces two years in jail.

JOE SIMPSON PLEADS NO CONTEST TO DUI/JESS SHOWS OFF NEW FIGURE

Jessica Simpson’s father Joe pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count of DUI Friday. In exchange for his plea, a second charge was dismissed, and Simpson agreed to serve three years probation and attend classes on alcohol abuse. Simpson, 54, was arrested last August after being pulled over in San Fernando Valley, CA. Meanwhile Jessica showed off her new figure at an event in Florida over the weekend. Jess has reportedly lost 60 pounds since she started Weight Watchers in May.

MILEY GETS RESTRAINING ORDER

A judge in California Friday granted Miley Cyrus a restraining order against the scissor-wielding man who tried to break into her home back in September. 40-year-old Jason Luis Rivera has now been ordered to stay away from the pop star for the next three years. Rivera is currently serving 18 months in jail for trespassing at Miley’s home, but due to overcrowding he’ll be out in May. Miley wanted the restraining order as protection for when he’s released.

HUDGENS TALKS THREE-WAY WITH FRANCO

This sure isn’t High School Musical. 23-year-old Vanessa Hudgens has a three-way with Ashley Benson and James Franco in their upcoming movie Spring Breakers, and she tells Glow that it certainly wasn’t easy for her to shoot.  "It was very nerve-racking for me," she tells the magazine. "I told my agent that I never want to do it ever again."

IDOL JUDGES GETTING ALONG

The American Idol judges finished taping the audition rounds last week, and apparently things have gotten better since the infamous taped argument between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey earlier this year. “Mariah and Nicki sat next to each other yesterday," an Idol source told People Thursday. "There really is some great chemistry among all the judges." The new season of Idol, with Keith Urban and Randy Jackson also at the judges’ table, kicks off January 16th and 17th on Fox.

OCTOMOM’S KIDS RELEASE XMAS SINGLE

Nadya Suleman has found a new way to make money off her children. Octomom’s brood has released a holiday single that’s now available on iTunes and Amazon.com. The tune, “I’m Ready For Christmas,” was written by rapper Romeo Holloway. And according to Octomom’s publicist, this won’t be the only song from the kids, who Nadya is calling the Roctuplets.  “This is just one of many children's songs they are going to come out with,” said the rep. “The kids had a lot of fun recording and shooting the video.”

DOG WHISPERER OPENS UP ABOUT SUICIDE ATTEMPT

Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan has opened up about a very troubling time in his life.  In an upcoming documentary on Nat Geo (airing November 25th), Millan says that he attempted suicide two years ago, after his beloved dog Daddy died and his 16-year marriage ended. "It was hard, because I wasn't expecting it," he says of the divorce from wife Ilusion. "I went into a big depression. I lost a lot of weight. And I felt that I lost the most important thing, which was my family." Millan survived an overdose, and then regained control of his life through exercise and work. And he has found love again, with a woman named Jahira Dar, and is already planning to pop the question. “I think my life has everything, you know, it has comedy has drama has action," Millan says. "I don't know about the ending yet. I'm just glad I can tell the story. Hopefully people get inspired, they get motivated. …Really what I would like for people to get out of this is just to not lose hope, no matter what happens. You should never lose hope."

GARTH’S EX STEPS OUT WITH NEW GAL

Peter Facinelli has a new girlfriend. The actor stepped out at the New York premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 with actress Jaimie Alexander, who co-starred with him in Showtime’s Nurse Jackie. Witnesses at the event tell Us Weekly the couple was spotted holding hands and stealing kisses throughout the evening. Facinelli and his wife-of-11 years Jennie Garth split eight months ago.

PATTINSON & STEWART WORKING ON RELATIONSHIP

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are by all accounts back together, but that doesn’t mean they’re as happy as they were before she cheated. “He’s never going to forget what she did, but he has forgiven her,” a source told Us Weekly. “Almost losing him was a wake-up call for Kristen. And Rob doesn’t want to be angry anymore. They want to move forward.” Still, the source says the couple has “good days and bad days,” adding that Kristen, “still feels guilty.” The pair has been making the rounds at Twilight premieres around the world, and they don’t seem to be showing signs of trouble. Said a source, “They’re comfortable, almost as if no scandal had occurred.”

JOAN MISTAKEN FOR ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT

Comedian Joan Rivers was questioned by border patrol agents in England last week, after being mistaken for an illegal immigrant. The 79-year-old and daughter Melissa were visiting a friend in Kent, followed by cameras for their WEtv show Joan and Melissa, Joan Knows Best. The pair and their crew were in a fishing vessel on the Swale Estuary, which is a well-known spot where people attempt to enter the country illegally. Border Agency officials were tipped off to a suspicious looking group, which is why they stopped Joan’s vessel.  They were eventually allowed to continue, and it sounds like Joan didn’t mind the mix up.  She said, “Even though we were innocent, I am sorry they didn’t arrest us. I love Englishmen and they were very cute.”

Deadline.com reports that CBS has finally pulled the plug on their ratings-challenged comedy Partners. Repeats of other comedies will air in its Monday, 8:30pm time slot starting tonight.

The Discovery Channel announced Friday their hit show American Chopper is coming to an end. The series will conclude its 10-year run with the previously announced four-way bike build-off titled The Revenge, airing December 11th live from Las Vegas.

Entourage’s Constance Zimmer has landed a multi-episode arc on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy. She’ll play Dr. Cahill, described as a “confident, self-possessed, laser-focused professional with a wicked sense of humor.”

Showtime has renewed Lisa Kudrow’s Web Therapy for a third season.

ABC has cancelled freshman dramas 666  Park Avenue and Last Resort.
