SAM WORTHINGTON ARRESTED
Avatar star Sam Worthington was arrested in Atlanta Saturday for fighting. According to cops, Worthington got into an argument outside the restaurant/club Vortex for not having ID. He was then refused entrance because bouncers felt he was too intoxicated, prompting Worthington to push a doorman twice. The doorman then subdued the actor with pepper spray and handcuffed him until cops arrived. He was officially charged with disorderly conduct. But Sam was quickly off the hook. The charges were dismissed yesterday morning because the complaining witness did not show up for court.

MTV PLANNING JERSEY SHORE BENEFIT
MTV made a lot of money off the Jersey Shore so now they’re doing something to help it get back on its feet. The network announced plans for a fundraising special that will air November 15th from their Times Square studio in New York City. The program will solicit contributions to help rebuild Seaside Heights, which was devastated last week by Hurricane Sandy. The live special will feature the cast of Jersey Shore, as well as other guests.
MILEY GETS PORN OFFER
Miley Cyrus has gotten an offer she probably will refuse. Inspired by Miley’s new video “Decisions,” which features 20-year-old porn star Jessie Andrews, the media director for Sex.com has offered to pay Miley to appear in a girl-on-girl make out video with Andrews. Sex.com’s Martin Ellison sent a letter to Miley’s rep offering to compensate the Hannah Montana star “extremely well” for her appearance. Ellison says the video he’s suggesting would just be a naked make out session, but adds, “how far Miley chooses she wants to go is entirely up to her.”

MILEY GETS TEMP RESTRAINING ORDER AGAINST INTRUDER
In other Miley news, the Hannah Montana star has taken out a temporary restraining order against Jason Luis Rivera, the scissor-wielding man who broke into her home back in September. Rivera, who is currently serving a year and a half in jail, must stay at least 1,000 yards away from Miley at all times. A hearing is scheduled for later this month to decide whether to make the order permanent.
WOOD & BELL ROBBED ON HONEYMOON
Newlyweds Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell got a very unwanted surprise on their honeymoon – they were robbed. The actress Tweeted on Sunday, “@1jamiebell and i just got robbed!! Found our room ransacked. We are safe and have everything we need. So all is well. #damn." There’s no word on where exactly the couple was vacationing when their items were stolen. Wood and Bell tied the knot on October 30th.

KHLOE THOUGHT MARIO WAS STEALING HER SPOTLIGHT
Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez are still working on a rhythm as hosts of The X Factor. According to TMZ, Khloe was “really upset” because she thought Mario was stealing her lines during Thursday’s show. Apparently Mario was constantly reading teleprompter lines meant for Khloe, which screwed up her timing. She talked to producers after the show, concerned Mario was doing it on purpose, but in the end she accepted that it was just an honest mistake made during a live broadcast.

Kristen Bell and fiancé Dax Shepard are going to be parents. The couple, who’ve been engaged for almost three years, confirmed yesterday they are expecting their first child in March. “They’re so excited – they’re both ecstatic,” a source told People. “They can’t wait to become parents.”

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT LOOKING FOR NEW JUDGE
Producers of NBC’s America’s Got Talent are on the hunt for a new judge to replace Sharon Osbourne, who quit last season over a dispute with the network. According to TMZ, producers are looking for a strong opinionated woman and have narrowed down their search to three very different people – former Beverly Hills 90210 star Shannen Doherty, and singers Carly Simon and LeAnn Rimes. So far no offers have been made. An NBC spokesperson claims no such list of prospective judges exists, but sources insist it does.

Architectural Digest reports that Brad Pitt is launching a furniture line. The actor has teamed up with furniture maker Frank Pollaro to create a collection featuring a dining table, a cocktail table, side tables, some club chairs and a marble bathtub for two. Pitt's collection will be unveiled November 13th – 15th in New York.

OCTOMOM’S SON GETS RESTRAINING ORDER/DAD ENTERS REHAB
Octomom’s 11-year-old son has gotten a restraining order against an ex-nanny who has become obsessed with him. Legal documents claim Gina Bryson, who was fired by Nadya Suleman over the summer, has been harassing Octomom’s eldest Elijah with phone calls and texts. Nadya claims it was Gina who leaked false stories about Elijah to the press, saying he was molesting his younger sisters. The restraining order prohibits Gina from getting within 100 yards of Elijah or contacting him in any way. In other Octomom news, her father Ed Doud joined her in rehab late last week. A rep for Suleman says he is being treated at the Chapman Rehab for alcohol dependency.
TV TIDBITS
CBS announced yesterday that Elementary has landed the coveted post Super Bowl timeslot. The series, starring Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu, will air Sunday, February 3rd at 10 pm (time approximate after post-game coverage.)
CBS has decided to burn off the remaining episodes of their cancelled freshman series Made in Jersey. The network will air new episodes of the show on Saturday, November 24th and Saturday, December 1st at 8 pm.
MISCELLANEOUS MOVIE NEWS
John Cusack is developing a movie about right wing radio host Rush Limbaugh. Cusack will star in the film, which will explore the talk radio host’s influence and impact over the last three decades. The Brady Bunch Movie’s Betty Thomas is on board to direct, with production expected to begin sometime next year.
Sylvester Stallone announced on his Facebook page yesterday that Nicolas Cage has signed on for The Expendables 3. Wrote, Sly, "We have confirmed Nicolas Cage, a master actor who gives a veneer intellectual group." (yeah, we don’t know what he means either)
