FORMER SONS OF ANARCHY STAR DIES AFTER ALLEGEDLY KILLING LANDLORD

Johnny Lewis, who spent two seasons playing Kip “Half-Sack” Eppson on FX’s Sons of Anarchy, was found dead Wednesday in the driveway of his 81-year-old landlord’s home. The landlord, Catherine Davis, had been beaten to death, allegedly by the actor. Earlier in the day, neighbors called the cops after hearing Davis screaming. They also spotted Lewis attacking two people with a piece of wood. Lewis then climbed onto the roof of Davis’ LA home. It is not known whether he jumped or fell to his death. Law enforcement tell TMZ they believe Lewis, who once dated Katy Perry, was high on either PCP or meth at the time of the murder. The men who he attacked claimed Johnny showed “super-human strength” and was “phenomenally strong.” TMZ also reports Lewis had been convicted of several violent crimes in 2012, including felony assault, felony assault with a deadly weapon and burglary. In fact, he had just been released from jail on September 21st.
SONS OF ANARCHY CREATOR REACTS TO LEWIS’ DEATH
Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter released a statement on Twitter yesterday, saying that Lewis’ death “was a tragic end for an extremely talented guy, who unfortunately had lost his way.” He added, “I wish I could say I was shocked by the events last night but I was not. I am deeply sorry that an innocent life had to be thrown into his destructive path. Yes, it’s a day of mourning, but it’s also a day of awareness and gratitude, sadly, some of us carry the message by dying.”

"You know, I'm a mother, and I feel that that's for her mother to speak about, and not me, because people have spoken for my child and myself, so I really feel that's for her parents to discuss and Amanda herself," said Dina, who then added. "Just be around … It's hard when your daughter's not, you know, over 18, and you want to let them go … and they want to, you know, feel like they're in control of themselves. So it's a very strategic place for a parent to be, but she'll be ok."
