*LIST* THE BEST AIRLINES FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

Between crammed airports, high ticket prices and problems on planes, passengers really just want to get to their destinations safely and easily, according to the J.D. Power 2024 North America Airline Satisfaction Study. It has passengers rate an airline’s staff, digital tools, ease of travel, overall trust levels, on-board experience, pre/post flight experience and overall value for the money.

  • The study finds that arriving safely and easily matters more than ticket prices when it comes to customer satisfaction.
  • J.D. Power has made a change to this year’s research, there’s no overall North American airline passenger satisfaction score as in previous years. According to Mike Taylor, travel intelligence lead at the company, instead they’ve decided to “concentrate on who wins which seat class segment.”
  • As for the airlines themselves, Delta and Southwest top the list for customer satisfaction.
  • Delta Airlines is number one in first/business class, as well as premium economy, while Southwest Airlines holds its number one spot for economy/basic economy class for the third consecutive year.
