Renee's Adoptable Pet Picks: Little Rey!!!!

  • Good with dogs
  • Housetrained
  • NOT Good with cats

So cute! Just look at those big eyes! Rey is an adorable black lab mix. This puppy, at just a year old is full of life. She has a short black coat, with a bit of white on her chin, paws, and chest. She currently weighs about 30 pounds and is a sweet and charming girl. This girl has a lot going for her. She does well with other dogs and children. She has too much interest and too active for cats therefore she will need a home without a feline companion. Rey would do best in a home with another well balance dog or two that can show her how joyful the world can be. Her new owner will need to help Rey build confidence by playing games that she gets rewarded for her achievements. Simple games like fetch, find it, and a variety of puzzles. Rey enjoys chewing on bones and chasing her squeaky ball. She should also be exposed to happy, non-confrontational interactions with people to grow her social skills. Rey hits the ground running with her high energy level. She enjoys long walks with her foster mom and then enjoys being a wonderful snuggles. She would do best with an active family that can keep this girl on the move. She enjoys the outdoors and every opportunity to go places and living life to the fullest. She also does very well in the car so she would be a great travel companion while going to the next family outdoor adventure. The sky is the limit with this girl! This girl has worked hard, and it shows with her house-training skill. She has earned her badge in house training and is excited to show her family how good she is with it. Although she is house trained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while she adjusts to a new home environment. She is also crate trained and has been making good progress on leash training skills. Rey is a loving playful pup. She will want to be with a family that will give lots of affection and attention to her. In return, she will give her love and devotion. Are you willing to commit to the time and energy needed to raise this wonderful girl so that she can reach her full potential of being a loving, devoted companion? If yes, read on.
