Meet Ozzie! At 2 years old this guy would LOVE to be your forever cat!!!

Two year old Ozzie is gorgeous. Ozzie is also outgoing; very interested in people and in being petted. So interested, in fact, that it is hard to believe that this cat lived for close to a year outside in a feral cat colony. Ozzie was clearly not feral. He was loved once.  He was neutered and had been socialized with people.  We suspect that he may have been dumped there. Ozzie liked the people who cared for the colony but would not let anyone get too close. And Ozzie is very, very smart. He kept eluding the traps that were set for him. (Think of the Roadrunner and Coyote cartoons here.) Luckily, the people determined to get Ozzie safe were smart too .... and determined... and last week Ozzie was finally trapped. Within 48 hours, Ozzie had been seen by one of out vet partners and was at Protectors of Animals, purring and giving head butts to the volunteers. We suspect that Ozzie is wondering why did not co-operate earlier.  Maybe he had forgotten about soft beds, gentle touches and play time?  If so, Ozzie is making up for lost time!  Seriously folks, this is a nice, easygoing boy. Everyone loves him and Ozzie seems to love everyone right back. As long as you don't ask him to climb into a trap.
