New Dream Job: Cadbury Is Hiring A Chocolate Taster!

As far as dream jobs go, this has got to be the best one: You can now get paid $14 an hour to taste and review chocolate. YES, REALLY. Mondeléz International—AKA the geniuses behind Cadbury, Oreo, belVita, Milka, and Trident—want to give you actual money and an official title to give feedback on their products. And literally everyone is qualified because their ideal candidate is anyone with "a passion for confectionary and taste buds for detection."

The part-time position is currently available on the company job board and requires 7.5 hour availability either Tuesday-Thursday 12:15 p.m. through 2:45 p.m., Monday-Thursday 3 p.m. through 5 p.m., or 8 hours Monday-Thursday 10 a.m. through 12 p.m. This sounds like the ideal side hustle. According to the site, the brand is looking to hire 11 UK-based Chocolate Tasters in total and a panel leader to share opinions and collab on ideas. Insider reports, there's a Chocolate & Cocoa Beverage Taster role open, too.

Experience is not necessary, because full training is provided to "develop your taste buds." Sooooo, you can consider this my official application for employment. One thing that will get you nixed from the application process? A food allergy. According to the website, products containing gluten, nuts, and dairy are all being tested at the facility, so dietary restrictions are a big no-no for applicants.

Mondeléz held a similar search last year, and per the Sun, received over 1,500 applications in a single day. As such, the company's acceptance period ends February 16. So, get those resumes in while you can.
