This Thanksgiving, show your support by volunteering your time with Hero Boxes Incorporated. Hero Boxes Incorporated is a 501(c)(3) not-for–profit organization that makes care packages to send to our deployed soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan as a sign of appreciation.
Hero Boxes is hosting a community event at the New Britain VFW on Thanksgiving Night and they are asking families to join them to wrap items for the care packages and write cards of appreciation. They send the care packages the day after Thanksgiving to ensure delivery for Christmas Time.
The season of giving is coming and now is your time to be a part of it. Bring the whole family on Thanksgiving Night to show your appreciation and support the soldiers protecting our country and freedom. They are also accepting donations until November 16th. Drop off locations for donations are listed below.
