Dog Adoption Event for the New Haven Animal Shelter this Sunday August 19th!

NEW HAVEN, CT – The Shops at Yale and the Robin I. Kroogman New Haven Animal Shelter are pleased to announce a dog adoption event on Sunday, August 19 from 12:00- 4:00pm on Broadway Island at 56 Broadway, New Haven. The Appetizer & Dessert Crawl portion of this event has been sold out. 

During the dog adoption visitors from all over the region will enjoy live jazz from The Neighborhood Music School Premier Jazz Ensemble, a roaming magician, free face painting, free glitter tattoos, mobile state-of-the-art dog and cat adoption unit, a chance to win a new iPad, discounts to retailers (plus it's CT Tax Free Week) and free dog caricatures!

This event is free and open to the public. “We are thrilled to announce that last year we were able to donate over $2,000 to the Robin I. Kroogman New Haven Animal Shelter from the sold out Appetizer & Dessert Crawl, and several dogs and one cat were adopted from the adoption event,” said David DelVecchio, Director of Real Estate Asset Management for Yale University Properties.

The Dog Adoption will take place at Broadway Island, 56 Broadway, New Haven. The City of New Haven offers FREE on-street metered parking on Sundays.
