CT Kids Who Got Drafted Into MLB!

Congrats to all the kids from Connecticut who got drafted in the 2018 Major League Baseball Draft! Dreams to come true!

Tim Cate from Manchester and UCONN taken in the 1st rd at pick #65

Mike Burrows from Waterford was taken by the Pirates in the 11th round

Zach Soucy from Southington and UCONN was taken by the Pirates in the 12th round

Dean Loffery from Central Connecticut State was taken in the 32nd round

PJ Poulin from UCONN was taken in the 11th round Colorado

Pat Winkle from Amity High School was taken in the 31st round

J.T. Hintzen, a Greenwich resident who just finished his senior season pitching at Florida Southern College, went to the Brewers in the 10th round.

Yale junior RHP Scott Politz and first baseman Griffin Dey and University of New Haven catcher P.J. Contreras are also hoping to be drafted this weekend!
